Roof of England bus service running on Sundays and Bank Holidays during the summer.

I think these are the guys who, IIRC, had a Vauxhall Zafira (complete with beaded seat-covers)listed in the vehicles section of their website when last discussed on the forum.

Although it's not entirely clear, I think you may need to be a member of the Weardale Community Trust in order to experience this service. Prices are currently set at £2 for individuals and £5 for groups.

I think they have a few minibuses the biggest is a 16 seater.

Its a normal bus service that usually appears on the county council website. A friend of mine uses it regularly with his ENCTS pass
