Martijn Gilbert confirmed that they have 30 electric charging points at Riverside.
----
It has 30 electric bus spaces and the main depot also had scope for the retro-fitted of charging pipes and units, as does Consett.

PVR is only 7
9 are on order, so I wonder if they'll add a bus in to the 57 PVR to take it up to 8, to improve reliability?
--------
Other routes:
6/12/12A = 9 PVR - would only leave 1 spare overall - unless changes were made to the services.
58 - 5 PVR - could increase to 8 with the 58 going every 10 minutes.
Other than those routes, I can't see them being put on anything else

(11 Oct 2021, 5:19 pm)Storx The 66 plate Streetlites are going on the 6/12/12A, Dan pretty much said a few weeks ago.
The ex Red Kite Streetlites are coming to Riverside to take over the Gateshead Streetlite routes that don't need to go into the LEZ.
(11 Oct 2021, 5:23 pm)deanmachine Isn't it every 15 minutes now? Don't know if you're including that in thinking for the PVR.

(11 Oct 2021, 7:05 pm)Michael Well you never know, the B9's could then move on to another Gateshead route - using the brand, then the 58 becomes VoltraWhat was the point of branding them...personally idk why 57's are getting new buses are they even busy. Mind if I lived on the 57 route I would love new electric buses.
Likely the 57 to get the Voltra brand though.

(11 Oct 2021, 8:10 pm)Malarkey What about the Quaycity Q3 with the Versas displaced on to the likes of the 57 given they are already Euro 6.What's the PVR of these new buses meant to be and for what route would they be best suited to. Maybe a whole new route to include the PVR
I'm sure Newcastle City Council would be over the moon if the Quayside was fully operated by Zero Emission Electric Buses alongside the Voltra 53/54.

Went past riverside depot on my way to the metro, when I went past there was just a spare voltra branded vehicle parked there, just on my way back and by the looks of things more have been delivered, does anyone know what they are for?
