From 18 seconds into this video you can see the next stop announcement screen flicks back and forth between the stop name screen and GNE adverts.
The adverts are barely readable in the split second they’re shown so what’s the point.
I’ve seen this numerous times now, including when approaching a rail station stop where GNE have went to the trouble of showing a feed of train departures only for it to be visible for a second at a time as it continuously flicks to adverts.
I’d vote get rid of the adverts.

I've noticed it appears to start showing train departures way earlier than it's meant to, for example on the Q1 it shows it before it's even got to Monument.

(01 Jun 2021, 4:32 pm)pbjd Bit off-topic but good to see buses with warning lights are still going round in service, warning buzzer going off all the way through the video. On a B9, that could be anything down to even the engine bay door thinking it's not latched properly. Without seeing what's on the dash, there's no way to tell why its sounding so I'd not want to speculate the cause.

(03 Aug 2021, 7:42 am)Train8261 Yesterday I was on the 94 and it is now updated to say on the board
"This is your East Gateshead Loop 94 Service to Gateshead "
Can't remember if it said it on the NSA or it just said This is your 94 Service to Gateshead

(03 Aug 2021, 10:29 am)ne14ne1 “This is your…” rather than “This is the…”?Most of the Voltra have done that now. Past few I've been on haven't even shown the next stop board. All it does now is make that. Ding dong sound when it leaves or passes a bus stop
___________
I was on a Voltra the other day and they still don’t seem to announce the route number or direction upon departing each stop.

I personally hate NSA systems that say 'This is your' over 'This is the'.
It's mine is it? Can I take the bus with me?

(03 Aug 2021, 2:38 pm)Adrian I'd say 'This is your' is more personable, so I prefer it.
Certainly beats the blunt TfL standard of "(number) to (terminus)"

(03 Aug 2021, 2:53 pm)ne14ne1 I think TfL’s is the benchmark IMO.
Essential words only which is better for those whose first language isn’t English, plus they just don’t sound as repetitive as they don’t constantly repeat the words “Next stop…” every 2 minutes or “This is the [route number + route brand] service to [terminus]”.

Much prefer the GNE "this is the" over the Sapphire ones "this is your"... no thanks, I don't want to be associated with that!
