Great initiative by GNE. Let’s hope this temps people onto buses.
If Stagecoach and Arriva did the same & NE1 stopped the free parking in the city, we’d be laughing - although maybe it’s best keeping it a bit longer until things pick back up and get back to near-normal, then really push the message home that public transport is the solution.

Looks like it can also be used on the X11, as long as you board after 7pm, if you just want to say you've been on the X11!

(14 May 2021, 8:31 pm)Adrian No idea where your area is, but if its operated by GCT as suggested above, then maybe you should write to Nexus to see what they're doing in order to encourage more people into towns/cities and boost the economy?I live in Annitsford. Tbh I wouldn't be surprise that soon the evening 53 is ran by gct soon. God help me. Yea I'm on the route of the 42A
