TBH it was probably more the case of, does it move, do the staff at the depot need know the vehicle type. If yes to both, then theres your bus for you to lend.
I just thought I would throw it in here, but I wonder if GNE will be doing a livery for Durham being the City of Culture, like they did with the Sunderland one. If there is, it would make much sense to paint a streetlite or a citaro into it for the 20 or X20.Or maybe the 65 as a deciated spare.

It says on Bus Times that 6362 is being painted into X1 Livery, but surely with the consett reliability this isn't really the right thing to do, I know there was a spare when they got reduced to every 20 mins, but would it not be better to keep it at consett.
I know it is just bus times so you can't take it at face value, does anyone know if this is true.
(21 Apr 2022, 10:06 am)Jack Gill I know that they are repainting 1 of the X45/6 ones into X1, but I hope it's not 6362 and they do 6363 otherwise that would be rather annoying.I hope they space some more spares at consett, they seem to need them. Maybe keep 6332 or 6333 unless they go onto the X21

(21 Apr 2022, 11:11 am)Dan People are putting two and two together and coming up with five - 6362 is at Saltmeadows for accident damage repairs.Thats my bad. i remember you saying one would get redone and i saw a pic of it at Saltmeadows and thought it was getting its X-Lines X1 livery. Changing it back to the X-Lines X45/X46 livery.

Any idea what they are doing up here?If there is then surely these will be to replace the 15 remaining Scania Omnidekka's 3995/6126-29/6131-32/6134-35/6140-6148 which will need withdrawing ahead of the Emission Zone being introduced given the Omnidekka's are allocated between Riverside/Percy Main.
