(04 Mar 2024, 10:35 am)F114TML 22411 has been donated to Sunningdale School in Sunderland

Sunningdale did a post on their Facebook about, what they'll be using it for.

----

As part of the school’s continued approach to Preparation for Life beyond the School and Preparation for Adulthood we have a new addition to our functional learning village. Just outside (‘outside outside’) our shop there will be a bus stop where we teach all of our pupils (regardless of age) how to wait for, board and ride a bus appropriately with their peers, families and, where appropriate, entirely independently. Our functional learning bus arrived on Friday. You can’t really miss it?!? A special thanks to Stagecoach in supporting us with this! It will be yet another asset in preparing our awesome pupils for their everyday lives and challenges!

Edit:

Did some temp work there a while back, its an amazing school.

Ye, heard they should be arriving by end of the year, hopefully we hear more about them in the coming months....

I do wonder, if Stagecoach will use government funding to increase the E services back to every 20 mins each (7 mins combined)... as the PVR for the E's is only 10.

Edit:
Fleet numbers for Sunderland are: 73024-43

Annoyingly in my opinion, especially after the investment in the SC South operations over the last few years, especially in the Portsmouth and Chichester fleets Stagecoach south have been cascaded 6 E400 MMCs (i believe all 65 plate) from the Manchester area with (I think) 4 sent to the Portsmouth depot and 2 to the Chichester depot, they could have been pretty useful at slatyford depot in addressing vehicle shortages

That's the problem with having a 'company man' at the helm of SCNE.
