I believe that the South Tyne Optare Versa's will be replaced by StreetLite's with the Versa's going on 82/82A, Cadet's/Merit's on 85/86
I think,

Cruasder could get Volvo 7900h would be suited nicely.
Coaster could get E400MMC or Volvo wright streedecker's moving scania omnicity buses to Cruasder and transfering citraos to loop or to 20/A/X20.

For X21 they could get MetroDecker or Scania E400.

Why would you put older vehicles on the 27, than what is currently in use on the service though.

Everything is getting replaced by StreetLites though...

At present, there are only 45 Wright Streetlites in the fleet, which comprises 714 vehicles. I think by the time ''everything'' has received these vehicles; buses will fly.

If they do then they can moved newer buses  current citraos to old routes and i didn't like citraos at all omnicitys are better.

I would have to disagree, the Mercedes Citaros are a far more superior Vehicle in my opinion.

Both are good, but the Citaro is better.

Are you sure?
Streetdeck demo expected July 6, after type training should be in service a few days after. E400 definately coming but no word on date yet. The Streetdeck is SN64CTU

What would you rather they get, E400's or Streetdecks?

Looking from the outside, the E400 looks a far better option, heard nothing but bad reviews for the Streetdeck...

He hasn't had an opportunity to drive the buses to provide feedback yet...

Pointless saying one or the other when he (and others) won't know how they perform from a driver's perspective!

thanks so soon after rally
Is there any chance of GNE getting a Metrodecker to trial, if they are having the other three main options? (Especially as they seem to order a lot of Optare products)
Based on reviews the latest E400s come out better than StreetDecks, and I've always preferred the various versions of the earlier Enviro 400s to Volvo/Geminis, but I'll wait til I've ridden on them to make my judgement.
