True, true I hope they go to Walkergate or Slatyford if that happens

Surely they'll go to the same places as the existing trainers..?

Well I don't care as long as the buses are out of service with the awful seats
27250 has entered service on 59/61 today
Will the Stockten tridents need withdrawn before the end of the year, assuming they are none-dda
Possibly to Driver Training maybe?

They will need to be withdrawn by the 1st January 2017 unless they are modified. This years deadline applies to single deckers only.

They will be withdrawn next summer with the end of the Macmillan school contracts.

I must go down and catch one in service, maybe in November
When Macmillan school contacts run out will stagecoach on Teesside keep there Dennis trident or will they withdrawn them or well there keep them for a rain day. If there do withdrawn well there replace with few singles decker's inset for cover breakdown vehicles.
I wonder why South Shields have removed the wheel trims from 19641-6? Looked much smarter with them. I know 19643 entered service with them but they were removed shortly afterwards. 19647 still retains them also
Kind regards
Chris
ADL Enviro200s on the Sunderland Illuminations services tonight. Hopefully gas buses are provided tomorrow - the extra capacity is needed...
What is 19647 doing on the 63 in Newcastle. I thought it was a South Shields bus

Only 19641 - 19646 are allocated to South Shields.
If you don't mind me asking - where did you spot 19647 on the 63, and which direction was it heading? I'd like to catch up with it for a photograph, if possible.
Killingworth-Chapel House. I'm just about to get off in Monument

How many buses are they using on the 101?

20 minute frequency service - town to Morrisons via Roker.
Imagine three buses would be required for that. I saw an older ADL E200 and a SUNderland Bus branded one.

Cheers, hopefully numbers go up on the service.

Hopefully not if they want to continue allocating E200s...
The SUNderland Bus branded one I saw last night heading to town (would have been the last one from town to Seaburn at around 9pm) was packed.

Shame we don't have any E400's at Sunderland

Well you know my thoughts on the lack of double deckers at Sunderland..!
Quite a few members of the forum went to Edinburgh yesterday and would have noticed that the majority of Lothian's fleet comprises of double deckers. There's no way double deck capacity is needed during the day but they provide double deckers as single deckers could not cope with the peak-time loadings.
Shame we don't see more of that with Stagecoach.
19642 is a bit tatty inside so that one hasn't lol

I think a few services could do with deckers during peak time... but i doubt that'll ever happen in Sunderland.... unless they bid for this Gas bus double decker, if it ever happens!

Gas buses were indeed allocated today. I noted 28028 and 28037 on the first two departures from Seaburn this afternoon while I was there; strangely, two different destinations were being used.

Perhaps worth noting that 28037 worked service 4 earlier in the day (as depicted below). I'm not sure if the Sunday ones are going to run off 4s or if the bus was just spare in the depot after end of play..?

How come assumptions like this are allowed to remain yet when I correect hm the comment is removed? You'd rather have incorrect information on the forum than upset your pathetic mate. He hasn't a clue whether they'll go. All he knows is that a parent at a parents' evening was told the contracts were finishing.

Instead of assuming I'm making assumptions maybe get your facts right!!!! The person who showed me the photo is a prospective parent - who also happens to be a Stagecoach driver. Regardless of whether the Macmillans were staying or not, as all 8 of Stockton's deckers are not DDA, they would in theory be going next summer anyway, just now we don't need replacements.
