There are 3 MANs in use each weekday on E400 routes at Walkergate, usually service 22. I would assume this is why the three have been sent to Walkergate rather than Slatyford, despite the latter losing out when they were nabbed by South Shields in the first place...

It uses vehicles from service 52 and 58 so yes it will be operated with Dots branded vehicles

The 'Connecting The Dots' E300s are branded for 52/58/59/61. There's no mention of the 35 mainly as the brand appears to be deviced for high frequency town services like the 58/59/61 (52 is more an inter urban service)
27242 was on the 35 an hour or so back so if i get a picture you owe me a pound

It's on the 52 now - as stated many times before, the 35 will be worked by the Dots because it interworks with the 52 and 58. Just because the 35 isn't mentioned on the vehicles doesn't mean it can be classed as off-route.

So why's the 52 mentioned then?!
If it can mention the 52 I don't see why the 35 shouldn't be mentioned on the branding and in the publicity. As its obvious its going to be using the new buses since it interworks with the 52 and 58 why not advertise the fact?

52 'Every 12 Minutes', 35 'Every 30 Minutes' - do the maths!

You said "the brand appears to be deviced (?!) for high frequency town services like the 58/59/61 (52 is more an inter urban service)", so if they can bend the rules for the 52 why not for the 35 which is a town service but half hourly?
I Wonder if the infamous high vis jacket will be making an appearance this Friday?
Does anyone know when there will be new CitySightSeeing buses?

52 can be classed as a town service since it goes to Stockton High Street, Norton Red Lion (Start of high street) and Billingham Town Centre, not to mention Billingham/Norton is apart of the Stockton borough. Stagecoach should work it so the non vinyl buses will be on the 35's (if that can work, i don't understand interworking services)
(14 Sep 2015, 6:18 pm)Kuyoyo wrote [ -> ]We get it - you don't like the branding because 'apparently' you can't see through it (when I plainly can confirm you can)
You can see through it because it is opaque. I don't find it pleasant looking out the window and seeing '____ zone' mirrored over everything . I'll say it again, if they branded the front windows OAPS WOULD COMPLAIN and would REMOVE IT. Stagecoach just don't .like paying customers
p.s - it can sometimes hurt my eyes too!

6 of the 7 52s work onto 35s (the one board that doesn't work 35s works the 58/58A instead). All 4 58s work onto 35s. So, no way to have them all worked by unbranded examples.

:s would have just made sense to put the 35 apart of it and just put 'connections up to every 12 minutes'.
they should try out 'Connecting the dots zone to zone' on some of the unbranded examples, getting 2 for the price of 1

The 35 has 2 choices:
1. interwork with something in Stockton (and it can only really be the 52 and 58) to help with reliability
2. Stand alone but terminate at the Royal Oak to aid reliability
All 14 branded examples have 'up to every 12/15 minutes*' (* Monday-Saturday Daytime) on the side advertising the frequency of both the 52/58 (every 12) and the 59/61 (every 15).

or:
3. change side advertising to 'from every 12 minutes'
4. Have an active spare ready for usage if the 35 gets stuck up in traffic (stand alone)
5. Run the 35 non-stop between High street and Norton Road
6. Do nothing, old people can't read anyway
7. Make the driver cover up all of the branding before switching to the 35
8. Be like GNE and end up with any bus on any service, even though they are branded
9. Get some youths to graffiti all over the buses so actually banding won't be a problem
10. send the 35 to the naughty step for being such a pain
11. Sack whoever came up with this idea
12. Advertise that if you really care about this, you really need to get out more.
Both 'Dotty' E300s are on 59/61 today - 27251 is also at present set to work 58/59/61 this evening. First day one has been on a late board.
Still no more new ones out - all 9 remaining T/V reg.s out (22196/7/8/204/6/466/71/5/671). Surprisingly since they should be coming off by next weekend several have had new adverts stuck on since the start of the week.

And it's joined on that cycle by 27242.
27251 is on the same 59/61 turn as yesterday
22204 withdrawn last night. On the 10/11 yesterday. Its new advert on the back lasted one day!
Can someone make a list of whats being withdrawn so far because of the new Enviro's please?
