Yes, on service 15.

No, 5170 only went for repaint yesterday.

Compared to the old X40 brand, there was hardly any mention of 'Great Park', so more Great Park vinyls have been added - all vehicles due to be re-branded this week. 8310 due to re-gain a 'Quaylink' sticker below windscreen too.

Does any know if all the yellow ollys will be withdrawn or will they keep some for the Jewish school contract
A quick query, did another route besides the X66 used to use the Riverside Bus Link? I recall that maybe the Ten used to, back when it was Citaros?

Still does M-F where the X66 goes up the 10 goes down the 2-way road it uses Metrocentre bound, belive the Red Kite might also do this or did.

I have definitely been along the Centrelink on the TEN (on a branded Volvo B9TL) before when I've been heading from the Metrocentre to Newcastle but of course it turns off before the low bridge and it will head over the swing bridge then head along the B1600 then Marlborough Road then rejoin the normal route at Neville Street.
Some early morning TENs (some red kites used to) do or used to run via centrelink. Don't know if it was to avoid traffic.

3887 did that last month on 10 shuttles.
I'm guessing these routings might occur if the Redheugh Bridge was closed due to wind? Or would they backtrack and use the Scotswood Bridge on an occasion like that?

On a weekday morning, some journeys on the 6, 10, 10A and 10B operate via Centrelink, rather than operating via the Redheugh Bridge. I'm not sure whether the 43/44/44A used to do this before prior to the October changes, however?

The following journeys serve the The Close (Copthorne Hotel), operating Monday to Friday only, with no journeys on Saturday or Sunday.

They didn't from what i can remember - all journeys ran via Teams and Redheugh Bridge.

I suppose it makes sense with the express running on the 6 now, as the "Diamond" services used to stop in the Teams.

We did, on a TEN, last Saturday.

Actually quite a memorable journey - chatted a bit with the mum of a little girl who was dressed up to the nines but had never taken a bus before, so was a bit unsettled in her seat. I'm hoping they got a good look at the Fenwick window, as it hadn't occurred to her that it might have started yet, and I was under the impression that it was opening a bit later - checked and confirmed for her that it had launched the previous night! And then, of course, there was the other woman who had gone out specifically to visit M&S, which was closed all day....
There was another shortl lived route that also used the centrelink whilst it operates. It was a different operator though and was Arriva when it's short lived Sunday service on what was the X1 Middlesborough route went from Gateshead Metro to Metrocentre instead of Newcastle on Sundays. Service didn't last long though
The X1 and 4 seem all over today.

Driver changeovers for the 4 in Houghton and X1's running in 4's towards Easington Lane.

Might as well report that 5300 has a rear blind issue when I am at it.

edit: 6028 has been dropped out at the Galleries, with passengers transferred onto an unidentified B9.
This is running in tandem (like 6028 was) with 6007, with both leaving the Galleries together, under direction from a supervisor at the Galleries.

Would it not have made sense to drop on of the B9's out, run it light to Gateshead or Newcastle and condense everyone onto one (neither were particularly busy when leaving the Galleries)?
I think something may be happening in the Newcastle City Centre. I'm on the 4 (5361), which is following directly behind another (5366). Folk waiting at Heworth were saying they got the Metro, because they'd waited half hour for an X1, and nothing had turned up.

Edit: There's just been an "all services back to normal" message over the radio, for Newcastle services.

It appears a decker has broken down whilst on Lumiere duties, and 5158 has been scrambled from Chester-le-Street to assist.
