So nearly all the out of town services to/from Darlington are likely to be late today then.

And it's such a lovely day for hanging around at bus stops.

Yes everything again 2 7s at north road garage one at least half hour late to make things worse the temporary ones aren't working with the normal ones, traffic backed on to the ring road and it's only 10:50

Someone on Facebook is claiming that they've been waiting an hour in Aycliffe for a 5!!!

Arriva are advertising on Facebook that the X75/X76 are going MAX next week.
Hopefully getting back to some sort of normality shortly as the council have been instructed to take all the lights down and put them back up at 7pm tonight
Just what is "normal?" If the lights are to be removed and reinstated at 7pm, why have them there in the first place? Is this world going completely nuts !
Putting lamp posts up is the reason for having the traffic lights at Cockerton - big tailbacks.

Far better to do the roadworks on an evening when there is less traffic & less disruption to be caused.

Exactly! The mind boggles at the insanity of these people. Or do they just do it deliberately?

Temporary lights in Aycliffe Village as well!

I will confess that I rarely put Darlington and normal in the same sentence together. (Still a little wary of the place after a godawful job I had there, sometime back in the last century)

7445 and 7446 are still in service at Ashington, and none have moved to "Under Repair".

Too busy painting things it seems - I am told 1320 has received Arriva base colours without the cowhorn, in preparation for the next rebrand Wink

Frequenta?

Some of Belmont's Solo's could do with a new lick of paint!

I agree! Glad ours at Stockton are due to be done as ours look scruffy too

Saw one of Belmont's original liveried examples on the 86 yesterday and a fair amount of paint had come off the front bumper.

So that explains where all the E200s have vanished to.

It's usually the 46/8 they're on.

More often it's the 43, 49/49A or 56/57/57A/86 rather than the 46/48 although them E200's seem to have done most of the services at Belmont.

Theve been everywhere the past week or so, Only 2 I believe were allocated to the 64 on Saturday.
4517's rear destination is broken

There is a diversion in place on Saturday/Sunday in Crook which means the 46 is making a very tight turn at High Jobshill.  It was decided that the Pulsars were too long, and that the Enviro 200s have a great steering lock, which made them the best buses to use on the service (since there is no alternative diversion).

Ah right, That will explain it then. Thanks for the info.
MAX X75/X76 launch will be on Wednesday. Appears to be no TITAN the Robot for these events and despite their claims I doubt that there will be a shiny new bus there either.

Why? I can see it being something on the increase, rather than the other way around. Depending on what the fuel savings Arriva are getting from it?

I think he meant he hates it because it stops kickdown in Pulsars. Which I admit annoys me too.
Don't know how much it saves fuel wise though, Its supposed to make gear changes based on traffic conditions apparently.

Thought that 1509 wasn't that quick getting up that hill near Shildon Rail Station heading towards Aycliffe. 1511 seemed better though.

I doubt I'll be there especially, though the giant IPAD(sic) intrigues me.

Tickets up for grabs that we might actually be able to use, though - unlesss it's local ones! And, of course, it'd cost me £7.70 to get there and back, so that sort of cancels out the benefits of free tickets.
