I see there's now an alert on previous pages for unread messages rather than just on the current page - is that a new innovation or have I just noticed?! Definitely better.

Do you know how the new interworking works Jimmi? 4809 did a 19, then 1 to Bishop & back to Darlington. What would it have then went onto?

I would love to tell you but I don't know myself! Think the 5 I got to Darlington went onto the 12 upon arrival in Darlington and 1463 came into Darlington Town Centre as a 19 and left as the 5.

I thought I sussed out the new interworking patterns but a brief trip to Darlington totally destroyed my theories [emoji1]

EDIT: saw 4809 arriving in Darlington Town Centre which came from St. Augustines Way at around 3pm, presumably as a service 19 judging by the time it arrived, couldn't see the screen to confirm which service it was on.
The interworking of the 1/5/5A/19/12

15 and 45 minutes past the hour leaves as a 1 from Darlington
Then returns as a 5/5A to Darlington from bishop
Then does a 12 to hurworth then
12-Middleton st George then
12- hurworth then 12- Darlington

The 05 and the 35 service 5/5A to bishop
Then does the 58 and 28 service 1 to Darlington from bishop
Then does the 21 or 51 service 19 to west park

So basically

When a service 1 leaves Darlington (15/45) that will be on the 12

When the 5/5A leaves Darlington that's the 19

It's all so confusing
Another Solo on the 22 - white faced, this time, and a Frequenta 64 also on the 22, currently heading for Peterlee.

I'm still totally confused! 😕

What does a journey arriving into Darlington from Bishop Auckland as a 5A do? Considering that only one 12 an hour starts at Darlington Town Centre which comes off service 5?

Seriously, I honestly can't work this out in my mind! Please tell me everyone else has been struggling with this as well!
The new cycle is 7 buses doing 1(from Darlington) -5/5A(from Bishop) -12-1(from Darlington again) then 5 buses doing 5/5A(from Darlington) -1(from Bishop) -19-5/5A (from Darlington again).

The 5/5A that comes in on the hour, just lays over for 15 minutes instead of doing a short 12.

So it's possibly 2 sets of interworking:
Outbound 1 > Inbound 5/5A > 12
Outbound 5/5A > Inbound 1 > 19

Does each cycle then start again, or move onto the other one?

Question answered!
Sapphires making themselves scarce - 1474 on the 22.

Thanks [emoji2]

Looking at it now, I don't find it that confusing and now understand it completely, I think the reason why it was found to be so confusing was because it was said that when the 5A arrives in Darlington it goes onto the 12 but I couldn't see anything said about what the 5 did leading to sheer confusion and guess work as to what happens with the 5.

I even came up with an alternative way that the services could have interworked, that's how lost I got trying to work it out! [emoji1]

You've nailed it on the head, I couldn't think how to word it but that seems simple enough and yeah each cycle starts again

They've gone again!

And are the menu orders now variable? Upcoming service changes used to be at the top but I accidentally went into something else I never go into just now as that was at the top instead!

Random question, probably miles out, but is there a running board off the new 1/5/5A/12/19 that provides a extra bus on the 9/10 as there has been a pulsar on there twice in 2 days

That explains why I saw a max decker on Gilesgate roundabout!

No mate, just a spare bus. Coincidence, but it wasn't planned!
