8310 received a mega-rear advertisement for the Newcastle Clinic in July 2015.

It's possibly planned to be stripped shortly, with the amount of buses which have gained them recently. They tend to carry the mega-rear adverts for around a year.

I'm surprised they've been applied to 4936/7 at Deptford, cant see them still being here in a years time

4936 has actually just been withdrawn this week - so it lasted all of around seven days on that bus!

That was a waste of time then, bet Dalton Park wont be happy to hear their advert has only been on display for 2 weeks

Ive noticed 4937 also has the same advert, so not sure if its the replacement or there was 2 for Deptford. Surely would have made more sense to put on the 54 plate scania's

It's all managed through Exterion - bus operators will have a contract with Exterion and to my knowledge they have a copy of what is essentially the company's fleet list, with what kind of advertisement boards each bus has (if any).

Go North East will also say they are happy for x number of buses in the fleet to have mega-rear advertisements, but I think that's pretty much where Go North East's involvement ends, and they don't get a say in which buses are fitted and when. Places like Dalton Park will contact Exterion and ask if they can arrange for adverts on buses in the area, and Exterion will go ahead and do it, giving operators a percentage of the money they've taken to do it.

..or something like that!

Maybe they weren't expecting the L94 to be around overly long so it saves repaint when advert removed?

Then why were the versas and a B9 pranded as opposed to vykings, presidents & renowns? I dont disagree but it seems irratic.

What is the other bus(es) allocated to the N56 other than the spare corp streetlite (5439)?

5438 and 5439 - both red Streetlites.

If either is unavailable for service, then it should be a Prince Bishops Streetlite, though Deptford have allocated 8328 instead in the past. Both Streetlites out in service today though - 5438 on an early return 36 car, and 5439 on an early return 60 car working.

While on a shuttle back to Gateshead this afternoon, the front of 5279 for some reason came loose and the left side has been scratched against the road...
