As Ian said 1450, 1451 going next week, to be followed by 1453. Then apparently it's 1445/6/7
So it will be 1445/6/7/8/9/50/1/2/3/4/5/6 although I'd expect 1444 to be done aswell!

Only 1448-1456 are being repainted. 9 for 9 PVR.
Spares will come from 1457-1460 which will have Stockton replaced with Town on the livery.

Do the 27/27a still interwork with the 9? If so, then I assume they won't when the service goes Frequenta if just 9 buses are being done and they're for a PVR of 9?

The 27/27a ceased interworking with the 9 in February. Since then it has reverted to the old way of the 9 being standalone with 4 buses and the 27/27a interworking with 9. Of course, 9 branded for the route would reduce the increased amount of spares on a Saturday given the 27/27a has a PVR of 6 on Saturdays.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you by any chance know the PVR of the 15? By my calculations it would be 13 but then there are only currently 10 buses branded for the 15 so I'm not sure - do three of 1457-1460 make up the PVR?

The PVR of the 15 is 12 - so two of the spares make up the PVR. Same as Redcar's 63 is PVR 13 but there's only 11 branded buses so two of the spares make up the PVR.
7475 is back at Jesmond seen on 43 to Cramlington this afternoon

1453 has been gone a while. 1451 will be the last.

Also still has some incorrect coloured panels.

It has done its job then, hasn't it?
Does anyone have dates for when the following movements occurred?
1102: Reserve to Disposal
1104: Reserve to Disposal
1771: Blyth to Reserve
1772: Jesmond to Blyth (Reserve)
1775: Ashington to Yorkshire Tiger (On Loan)
4701: Whitby to Redcar
Darlington Frequenta optare solos are now being fitted with next stop announcements
2830 and 2832 are the first to be done

Redcar/Whitby allocations apart from the 93-branded deckers and the minibuses are totally arbitrary. Whitby could have anything of Redcar's. They SHOULDN'T have 1429-39 or 4700-2 though as they are Frequenta branded!
Does anybody know if 7456 is out today, and if it is, what route it's on?
Greetings!
Wow it's been a while, anybody now why 1762 has been withdrawn from service and if I can go anywhere to have a final look at it before it is sadly disposed off?
1104 and at least 3 others of a similar ilk look like they're off to the great bus station in the sky.
Seen on the Tees Flyover heading North about half an hour ago.

Replaying to myself here it's been removed from service due to chassis rot, how on earth has that happened to such a young bus? and how bad is it? Anybody know of a way I can go and see it? And what's a tree guard?

A tree guard is that metal cage on the nearside edge by the front upper deck window of many double deckers - essential for many services in Durham! I remember one of the old Y reg lowlanders had a nice big fibreglass patch on the corner, clearly pre-dating the fitting of a treeguard.

I believe it was taken from Belmont on a flatbed, as there was no way of towing it. As too where it went, who knows!

Greet, ok I was hoping to ask for the plates but that won't happen now!
After about a year of it first being mentioned, I believe the Volvo B9s on the X93 will be fitted with Next Stop Announcements shortly. Should be three next week and three the week after, depending on if Redcar can get the buses off the road.
So potential for a few odd-balls on the X93 over the next few weeks.

Has been a large number of odd balls recently anyway - believe one of the B9s has been VOR with accident damage so Whitby have been using whatever has been spare. Not helped (until the arrival of 1766) that 2828 was also VOR meaning the spare MAX B7 was being used on the Park & Ride
Has a Temsa ever worked the X93 to Scarbs before?

Searching Flickr for 'Tesma Scarbourgh' shows it happening on a few occasions, presumably lots more not caught on camera. MPDs have made it on full length runs too.

Was a booked working last year on an early one from Scarborough to Whitby, around 0920 I think. Not sure if it is this year, used to run onto the Park & Ride in peak summer when the 3rd bus started.
