The 35 needs 8 Citaro's, so i would of thought they would get 5325-32 to keep it as one batch... or they could have 5323/5324 join the 35 and have 5323-5330 in that batch.
5331-36 as a batch - 9
5337/5338 as spares
5305-5309 as one batch - moving to another service at a different depot.
Just a guess though, not confirmed.

As the versas on the 36 have been branded as 'up to every 15 minutes' id imagine they plan on retaining the see it do it Sunderland brand for the 35 but hopefully on the blue base on the current Mercs that are allocated to the 35. So id have thought 5328-33 would be for the 9 with 5334-6 being the spares.

But didn't Go North East want brands/services under the same batch, that's why 5328-5330 was removed from the Crusader brand.

I think within reason yes, but to be fair the Citylink Mercs are still not all grouped together. Only time will tell but I still think the current mercs will stay on the 35 with the 10 plates going on the 9

Agreed.
Either way, it would have been impossible to have the consecutive fleet numbers for both the 9 and 35 allocation.
In the same way as fleet standardization company ideals can only go so far.
How the 39 has changed over the years with some terrible vehicles to the best
Following the recent reduction in price of the Family Day Ticket to £10 (from £13), Go North East is now simplifying (and reducing) its fares on the Night Bus services too, for customers buying via the mobile app. This complements a wider marketing campaign for the Night Bus services, which has recently seen two buses branded up to promote the services.
As can be seen in the attached image below, they are also running targeted Facebook adverts to promote this to younger people.

I think you mean the best vehicles to the worst ha ha ha, at least back then buses were made to last rather than the cheap plastic that gets built under EU law.

True.
If the Citaro's go on the 9... do you think they'll go the same style as the 49?........ they should bring back "The Nine", i think it suits that route. -

Looks like its still at SM with 5329, according to the fleet news, these are due to enter service on Monday... although, 5328's has changed a few times.

5328 is at Deptford but VOR with defects pre PSV. Was due to go to Saltmeadows Road for some defects.

I really hope not. A major route like the 35 needs a brand. Although I've never rated See it Do it highly as a brand.

Because the metro is still off Pelaw-South Shields
Normal service 'expected' tomorrow. Imagine GNE have contingency for deckers

Correct guess!
635 was used as the spare for Winlaton Shuttle Bus - this has now finished, and it has hence been released for cascade to Peterlee.
636 has been used on the 680S Brunton Crossroads shuttle bus - whilst this is still ongoing, it will be replaced in the fleet at Hexham temporarily by a demonstrator minibus, which should arrive early this week.
This releases 707 and 708 to join 706 at Stanley - as noted before, two of these to be allocated to Cathedral Bus, and the other to Tesco Free Bus. Doesn't really matter which one is allocated to which.
All the Toonlink Omnicities now have WIFI, 5249 has also had WIFI as a dedicated spare.

Presumably, as the reallocations of 635 and 636 are noted as "Temporary", there will need to be further Solos sourced for Peterlee ready for next summer and the return of 635/636 to AD122 .....?

Percy main had 636 last winter for the 19
Those baby solos are incredibly cute on the 40.

Shame they didn't have the destinations programmed though! Hopefully they are done tonight when they return to the depot.

I believe a Leading Driver went out to update both buses, after the scholars peak this morning.
Will the Toonlink Ominidekkas gain Wi-Fi ?

That's alright then - I guess with the transfers taking place on a Sunday nobody would have been around to update the displays?
708 whizzed past me this morning on its way to Durham and the lack of a tagline made the livery look rather bare. Hopefully the tagline is added when the Toon Links (and relevant spares) gain their WiFi blobs which hopefully shouldn't be too far away dependant on availability.

Yes, looks a little odd now. It wasn't done at Peterlee as it's a bit out of the way and harder to access. Quite likely that the Wi-Fi feature symbols, and 708's tagline, will all be sorted out on a Sunday in the not too distant future. It'll also see the application of the new slogan 'Journeys taken care of' on the "Toon Link" branded buses, too.
The Wi-Fi feature symbols will probably look a little bit naff on the front of the OmniCitys - due to a lack of space either side of the front destination, they've been scaled down a fair bit (the biggest they can go is still fairly small!)

Not happy with the positioning of them on the Coasters? Suppose they are on one of the more vulnerable panels but they would certainly stand out against the black. Can picture it looking a bit yuk though.
Wish they would replace the WiFi blobs on the Red Kite B9TLs too - far too small and the side ones may aswell not be there!

Well, the ones which are left on the Coasters!
But yes; for the reason you state, moving away from that placement on an OmniCity, and going back to the standard placement for consistency with other buses in the fleet (even if the size will be inconsistent!)
Think there might be one of the Volvo B9s with the now-standard size front Wi-Fi blobs already, but don't quote me on that one!
How long is the contract for the cathedral bus?,and would the baby solos be painted up advertising the cathedral bus?
