MPDs?!
Will arriva have a poppy bus this year?
If so what do we think it (or they) will be?

If they do have a poppy bus this year it should be out by the end of the month

I think Arriva should permanently put a little poppy some where on their buses like stagecoach and have one bus put in a permanent poppy livery as well as the yearly poppy buses.
7414 is now at jesmond

And pigs might fly. Bear in mind the newest Minibus at Blyth/Ash/Jesmond is an 08 plate. The German masters will be looking for at least another 5 years out of them. Savings have to be made, the Krauts want their profit one way or another....

Correction, the newest minibus with Arriva Northumbria is the Mini 2011 61 plates, hopefully an investment can be made somewhere in the North East.

No they are 61 plates also.

It could also just have been coincidence that you happened to see more Jesmond break downs!

So would the 'killed on express routes' include examples such as 7504 NK57DYA which I see was at Redcar for the X93 and now to be seen on the 685 ( along with other 57 or 07 reg E400s that appear on the 685)?
7620 at blyth now currently having works done to the enginr
Belmont streetlite also in blyth presumably in for MOT or VOR

7501-4 were all branded for the X93 for a couple of years, having previously been on the 308 at Blyth and a brief spell at Ashington. They were then refurbished into Sapphire with 7505-9.

7507/8 were branded for the Alnwick/Berwick routes, however all of 7505-9 frequently saw use on those routes in their time at Ashington.
What's the craic with the 53 branded alx300's these days?
Havent long seen one on the A689 near Sedgefield. Driven by a fitter.

Likely 4523 from Redcar.

On about that, considering 1574-1578 basically replaced them, will they gain sub branding for the 53. Personally, I think it should be turned to sapphire considering for all I know it runs off the 43?

With the exception of any 'Rare' workings, below should be the following allocations / interworkings (interworkings in brackets).

Monday to Saturday daytime:
- 43(44/45) = Sapphire E400s / Sapphire VDL Pulsar
- 53(52/54) = Wright Streetlite

Evenings and Sundays:
- 43(46/52/53) = Sapphire E400s / Sapphire VDL Pulsar
- 44(45) = Sapphire E400s / Sapphire VDL Pular

Apparently on its way back to Jesmond in exchange for 7425 which has been receiving mechanical attention there, though 4523 was seen at Belmont last night.

Would make sense it being seen at Belmont, with it heading in that general direction, as opposed to straight up the A19.
The front blind on the Frequenta 64-branded ADL Enviro 200, 1327 (YX10 EBV) has fell out of its fitting and is now slanted back making it slightly dofficult to read the route number and service allocated to it.

It's been wonky for a few days. Makes it easier to read from my bedroom Big Grin  Not sure if it's the one that was completely scrambled, for a few weeks. Ended up with a paper number attached to the windscreen.
Just seen the ED4 in Sunderland... empty, rarely see it but does it get busy?
