Will arriva have a poppy bus this year?
If so what do we think it (or they) will be?
If they do have a poppy bus this year it should be out by the end of the month
I think Arriva should permanently put a little poppy some where on their buses like stagecoach and have one bus put in a permanent poppy livery as well as the yearly poppy buses.

(03 Oct 2018, 5:11 pm)Driver9*** And pigs might fly. Bear in mind the newest Minibus at Blyth/Ash/Jesmond is an 08 plate. The German masters will be looking for at least another 5 years out of them. Savings have to be made, the Krauts want their profit one way or another....

(30 Sep 2018, 4:20 pm)mb134 Jesmond's were killed on express routes, including a good couple of years on the Alnwick/Berwick routes before they got transferred to Jesmond last year. Ashingtons, bar 7511-3, are younger and so likely a bit more reliable.
It could also just have been coincidence that you happened to see more Jesmond break downs!

(04 Oct 2018, 6:37 pm)Brampton Trev So would the 'killed on express routes' include examples such as 7504 NK57DYA which I see was at Redcar for the X93 and now to be seen on the 685 ( along with other 57 or 07 reg E400s that appear on the 685)?

(05 Oct 2018, 4:44 pm)Andreos1 What's the craic with the 53 branded alx300's these days?On about that, considering 1574-1578 basically replaced them, will they gain sub branding for the 53. Personally, I think it should be turned to sapphire considering for all I know it runs off the 43?
Havent long seen one on the A689 near Sedgefield. Driven by a fitter.

(05 Oct 2018, 9:15 pm)L469 YVK With the exception of any 'Rare' workings, below should be the following allocations / interworkings (interworkings in brackets).I always thought it ran off the 43 anyway but was corrected a while back,it was round about the time the 54/55 used to imterwork

- 53(52/54) = Wright Streetlite
Evenings and Sundays:
- 43(46/52/53) = Sapphire E400s / Sapphire VDL Pulsar
- 44(45) = Sapphire E400s / Sapphire VDL Pular

The front blind on the Frequenta 64-branded ADL Enviro 200, 1327 (YX10 EBV) has fell out of its fitting and is now slanted back making it slightly dofficult to read the route number and service allocated to it.
