8294 seems to be struggling on the 36....

(28 Jan 2019, 11:52 am)Dan wrote [ -> ]5204 and 5216 joined 5201 at Percy Main over the weekend (5205 is still VOR at Chester-le-Street). Both are on 309/310 today, with 5201 on the 11.

6102 has now departed for Bus & Coach World, should be 6103 tomorrow.

Are they getting the same done as the Citaro's?

You'll have to wait and see for that one!

The Citaros don't have a top-deck, so there's a bit more you can do with a decker...  Big Grin
Looks like a ADL Enviro200MMC is also arriving on demo for the 4.

9088:

Over the coming months, Go North East will finalise plans for this year's intake of brand new vehicles to support the replacement of some of their oldest buses. As such; following on from the trial of Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Micro-Hybrid 3 9092 (SK17 HHL) last year on "Connections4" service 4, Go North East will now undergo a comparative trial of the Optare Versa xFE and ADL Enviro200MMC. This vehicle, first unveiled last year at the NEC's annual Euro Bus Expo event, has now been delivered to Go North East and allocated fleet number 9088 for the duration of its stay.

That'll be the electric one, yes, but there's also a diesel one due sooner for Washington which isn't on the fleet list yet.

There'll be more buses in the 9xxx series than any other, at this rate!  Big Grin

Have GNE won more NX work or just replacing older coaches?, i do like the Levante 3 body styling. Far cry from the original body shape/style.

Most likely to cascade and replace the older coaches in the fleet such as 7098 and 7116 etc

Are we expecting around the same amount of new buses as in 2017?, will the removal of the Scania's be priority?, as its likely the Omnidekka's from Brighton will remove the oldest deckers in the fleet.

If they were to trial the BYD E200EV it would need to be 12m in length, anything smaller i.e. 10.2m or 10.8m would be a midibus which would not cope capacity wise on the 4.

Personally hoping we get the Citaro Hybrid on demonstration at some point.
With the 2 New Demos is it possible 5261/62 could be loaned to Percy Main to help cover current shortages?
9088 on 4 to Houghton at concord now

Afew other suggestions for buses to Percy Main on temporary loans for the b9 refurbs:

635/6 to percy main for the 19 to release 2 full lengh single deckers to the 309/310

3 or 4 B7TLs (vykings presidents or geminis) from riverside/Saltmeadows to Percy main to keep the double deckers on the 309/310 as the 309s get busy at peak times at cobalt.

5486/7 from washy to Percy main for the 309/310
Or 2 other ciaris from washy to percy main for the 309/310

Or S830 OFT's suggestion

5486/7 needed for contracts as are most of the buses you have suggested. A few Solars have transferred over to PM so that will have to do.
Was outside my flat this morning sorting something in the car and saw a National Express coach coming out of Hexham Depot, wonder what was doing up there for
