Just photographed 8326 and 8327 in Beamish on the 28/29.

Bus Times suggest 6163 was on earlier, it seems it expired at Seaton Lodge Crossroads and 6165 replaced it, until that board of journeys were cancelled. At 15:30 6163 tracking again.

Aren't the 28/29 usually allocated corporate Versas?

The 29 could easily handle a decker on match days - if forward planning allowed it. Would really help pick up the slack through Harlow Green and Durham Road that the 21 can't handle

It’s up to the local authority if there wish to have a higher capacity bus on contract work if the 28/29 are secured services, isn’t the contract have minimum and up to maximum capacity?

Entirely forgot it was a contract!

As long as a Little Pinks solo doesn't appear again

Yeah I seen a Little Pinks solo at Perkinsville on Tuesday or Wednesday, did seems pretty busy when I saw it Newcastle bound.

Is there a few Little Pinks spare right now? The 71 seems to allocate Pink solos right now too. What’s the PVR of the Washington locals these days?
Looks like fleet movement are happening at Percy Main. 720 & 8346 have been taken of the 19 and replaced by two Coaster StreetLite

Just minimum capacity, there's no cap as far as I'm aware.

Mind you couldn't run a decker on the 28/29 unless you fancied a new open top bus (low bridge at Pelton).

And how much is all that costing??? I’d best by a new memory card or two…

You used to love shuffling the pack this time of the year too!!

I would expect any costs incurred are factored into the closure of Chester-le-Street depot and the mobilisation of Miscellaneous Workings.
