960 has been allocated 252 and 109 recently or when I've seen it it has been ran by one those two vehciles

Seems as if Kingsley's have been adding to their fleet. Currently en route to West Brom are a plain light blue Setra with a Mercedes chassis (if memory serves right, reg plate is K9 EFT), and an R-reg Noge Catalan with MAN chassis still in Colburn's grey livery.

The orange one was there's too.

Forgot to report this for a while now but W552 RSG(251) has now been declared SORN whilst X235 NNO(240) has been taxed and is back on the road.

Anyone knows what is happening to all the vehicles at Kingsleys that are SORN at the moment?

It was when Davie (our driver) was waiting to pull away from Tebay (would have preferred a Moto or Welcome Break for a KFC or Burger King) said "we have been having problems with our orange one", that I put 2 + 2 together and thought it was a Kingsleys.

They probably work closely together given they share the yard, wouldn't be surprised if they borrow coaches as and when required!
Look at them using A-Line's Excel on the 33 for a few weeks as an example.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Kingsleys have a novel extra on this service 33 scrolling boards. Gives you the via points and then "This service is funded by NEXUS". Interesting given discussion elsewhere about the NEXUS symbols no longer appearing on timetable booklets

Should be still use, there were a few ALX400s with "Not In Use" signs on the Dashboards when I was up there a few weeks back, they were 243/244/245 & 253, I gave Dan the fleetlist via PM so he could update it, but obviously he hasnt gotten around to updating it just yet.

Managed to do Stanley Travel's but not this one. Obviously being away at Paris meant I wasn't able to do it then either.

it is been displayed on the council transport website that kingsleys and a number of other companies are to have some of their services that are funded by nexus are to be axed dont know why

Can someone make it in to one of those small boxes please =)

There are a hell of a lot more contracts which have been awarded, which are yet to be "announced" via the confirmation of a VOSA registration... Operators lose some, and win others.

However, I'd imagine that the main reason for the loss of Nexus miscellaneous works will be related to what I suggested in this post.
