No, its owned by Scarlet Band like the rest of the Park and Ride Solo SRs. The reason the DCC logo is there will be because the Park and Ride services are operated on behalf of them.

That one is owned by Scarlet Band and allocated to Durham Park & Ride. The Durham County Council contract for this service stipulates a Euro 6 vehicle requirement hence this solo being a Euro 6 model.

I actually don't think them Solos are Euro 6, The reason being that Euro 6 buses have larger grills on the rear these haven't got that but have the same as the Nexus branded solos with Gateshead Central Taxis which are Euro 5

And I thought the contract said that Hybrid or full Electric buses when it was up for tender?

The Solo SRs are Euro 6. With the electric/hybrid buses, you may be getting yourself mixed up with the Cathedral Bus. However, as there were problems with the electric solos, services 40/40A are now fully diesel.

I think it was said that it was a 02 reg and the Stagecarriage example has the reg FJ54ZDT and when it arrived with Stagecarriage I think it had roller blinds although it now has a front LED screen so I don't think it will be this one.

Stagecarriage FJ54ZDT

Well, I can tell you about this. He has two coaches and one minibus. He lives in the middle of my street and he parks them around the corner.

Both coaches are in a right state.

My brother saw a 'X8' today, somewhere near Morpeth or Newcastle (he doesn't know where his respite workers take him). Any ideas?
