RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - Jimmi - 29 Dec 2014 (29 Dec 2014, 6:25 pm)upt50k wrote the X1 has changed from the inital concept of an express service in that not long after its introduction it was routed through Shildon and extra stops were added at Westgate Cres and Bondgate which help revenue but reduce the express appeal and as service ! buses were ugraded and taken out of Henknowle people now use this route Wasn't one of the reasons for the re-routing of the X1 through Shildon was to replace off peak service 4A which I think interworked with a Nexus contracted service. (25 Dec 2014, 5:09 pm)Dan wrote 4644 was the only one which didn't match up with the list that I'd gathered based on information posted on this forum and photographs on Flickr, but if it's a generic one, it means I've got it right. 4643 - MAX Darlington 4644 - MAX Darlington 4645 - MAX X26/X27 4646 - MAX X26/X27 4647 - MAX X26/X27 4648 - MAX X26/X27 4649 - MAX X66 4650 - MAX Darlington 4651 - MAX X66 4655 - MAX X66 4656 - MAX X66 4657 - MAX X66 An update for the fleetlist after yesterday's trip out confirmed the lot RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - Dan - 30 Dec 2014 (30 Dec 2014, 1:12 pm)Kuyoyo wrote 4643 - MAX Darlington Ta - take it the one in blue is one I got wrong? Will update at some point this afternoon... Yep - think that is one that's avoid the cameras until I caught it yesterday RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - tyresmoke - 30 Dec 2014 Former Park & Ride Solos 2857 and 2861 have now entered service following repaint, at Jesmond depot. They should transfer to Darlington shortly. MPDs 1773/1774/1775 have returned to service at Blyth following repaint at Thorntons too I understand Dart 1611 has moved to Jesmond and has seen at least some use. One of Durham's former T-FGN deckers was seen on tow to Alphas earlier today. Unsure which one sadly. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - northern156 - 30 Dec 2014 Not seen it for a while now; is Jesmond's Omnicity 4663 still in original Arriva cream swoosh livery please? No, it's in Max Livery for the X15. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - Jimmi - 30 Dec 2014 (30 Dec 2014, 9:21 pm)Tom wrote No, it's in Max Livery for the X15. No, it is still in the old Arriva livery I believe and I saw it on the 55 a few weeks back. No, 4653 is 'MAX X15' - 4663 is still in the original version of Arriva livery. I'd reckon so - they should be used on the 33/57A/X14 workings ideally. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - northern156 - 30 Dec 2014 Thanks all. If they're too high they'll get turned down though! I was sat under a speaker and my ears were ringing My dad was on it today and he said it was loud too. If it is as loud as it's made out to be I may even consider complaining to Arriva and would give me another reason to use the 7 instead. Yet on the Sapphire X21/X22 you can barely hear the announcements. The one I was on was loud but not too loud. 1511's next stop display/announcements weren't working today as the screen was stuck on Kwik Fit. RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - upt50k - 31 Dec 2014 Passed Lowlander 7443 today and noticed it had ARRIVA in the black lettering on the front panel which looked to have had a recent paint job RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - Stuart Phin - 31 Dec 2014 (31 Dec 2014, 5:45 pm)tyresmoke wrote They probably just want turning down.
