The 65 plates are already booked and allocated to the buses
Plus, it's normally the other way round that registrations are changed (ie if a bus is delivered or booked on a 15 plate but delayed or not taxed prior to 1st September then they can be re-registered with 65 plates).

Could you remind me the last time that Go North East did this to allow a bus which wasn't taxed to go out in service?

More an honest mistake than a trick perhaps? When you've several identical orange buses in a depot, you can see how it might happen.

So if they didn't put the incorrect registration plate on a vehicle to allow it to go out in service prior to being taxed - your previous post suggesting that Go North East have done this before as a "trick" makes no sense...

Two orange Mercedes Citaros off the road for the same issue, meaning that the same panel had to be removed from each bus and the panels mixed up in a depot with minimal lighting by an accident? Who'd have thought an innocent mistake could happen... It's not as if the registrations were swapped back as soon as the issue was acknowledged..?

If your talking about the new E200s, 37312 has arrived at Shields but will not be in service until the 1st September.

Some people may not be permitted to use work computers for personal use.

I have dismissed staff for such a thing so I would not suggest it if I were you.

39702 and 39704 are already in service at Slatyford. 39703 and 05 are currently being prepared for service there and 39706 isn't transferring to Slatyford.

Are 37301-19 definitely Euro 5? As they sound slightly different (higher pitched) than older examples 36461-79.

There are Euro 5 , the difference is that they have a different Voith gearbox. 36461-79 have a 3 speed and 37301-19 have a 4 speed with faster gear changes.
Its just a coincidence that they are higher pitched

I'm sure 37310 was delivered in connect dots branding. Only 37301-5 were in corporate livery

Kind regards
