(14 Jan 2016, 4:28 pm)Malarkey Excellent job as always from GNE I must say, I spent 2 Hours and 20 Minutes on the X1 from Washington Galleries to Gateshead, took over an hour to get from one side of Springwell Village to the other due to traffic being gridlocked, then get stuck again coming up to Wrekenton and then along to the Q.E. Hospital, obviously my Driver must of worked well past his Break to get back to Washington unless he had one in Newcastle before making a very late return journey.

Unfortunately I did make it to work today, after a few phone calls to them I made the decision to head back home as I didnt know what the Arriva X7/X8 and SNE X63 were going to be running like, nor did I know what the traffic was like going into Newcastle City Centre, then coming back out of town and up to Longbenton, literally had no signal at all to be able view the Weather Updates as it was up and down like a yo-yo, the joys of being with EE.

Think there is meant to be more white stuff tomorrow also, in which case I am instead going to get the Metro to Work.
You did or didn't make it to work? Bad crack if you've sacked it off, because of a bit snow mind! They'd not be able to run a business if no one turned up cause it was snowing.

(14 Jan 2016, 6:41 pm)Adrian You did or didn't make it to work? Bad crack if you've sacked it off, because of a bit snow mind! They'd not be able to run a business if no one turned up cause it was snowing.

I didnt make it, they advised me to turn around and go home, and are complaining that I did not ring in and have been classed as AWOL, when I actually spoke to them 4 times, but the person I spoke to did not pass on the message to my Manager, looks like I am gunna get a bollocking tomorrow because someone did not do there job properly.

Yes, the ones that appear on the TEN seem to be the same (apart from the erstwhile 'Metro Radio' bus).

3966 is the same - very high noise level inside as well as outside - the driver needs earplugs!

I think 6027 needs a bit of TLC.

The last three days it has been on the 82/82A it has been really really struggling, and the fan has been ridiculously loud. So much so I can hear it from inside my house, when normally I can't tell there is a bus going past.

Wifi pods (or pods with the international WiFi symbol) on the top of Nexus Bus liveried Solo's.

Are these standard or were they fitted as an extra?
