(15 Mar 2016, 5:09 pm)South Tyne Lad The 88/88A already has a Solar board allocated as there's not enough Versas, Though 2 will appear till Friday as Dan said 8295 is out till Friday for PSV.
Because of the lack of branded Versas, I think its a good move moving the 88/A to Riverside which have a wider veriety of buses ( Aswell as spare Versas ) to allocate in the event of a Versa being VOR.
Still no news on the routing of the 88A? or is it getting withdrawn and all services becoming service 88?

(15 Mar 2016, 6:56 pm)Michael Dan or Citaro, when 9102 enters service, will you let us know what time journeys they'll be doing during the day and night?
Thanks =)
(15 Mar 2016, 4:25 pm)Michael I think 8328 should be repainted for it, they'll still have 5389/5390 as spares for the Versa routes.

(15 Mar 2016, 7:38 pm)park5354 I think Lambton Worm brand should be scrapped, allowing two versa to go to Riverside, and two to Deptford. This would allow a full South Tyne versa allocation, with a corporate spare at Riverside, and two corporate Spares at Deptford.
4989-92 could then go on 34/34A.

(15 Mar 2016, 8:29 pm)South Tyne Lad I agree, But sorry to be a pain and bring this up again, But how long do the 09 Euro 4 Versas have left in service work? In a ideal world id put them as red spares because some are appalling.
I also think Simplicity 2/2A could be a contender for New Vehicles in a few years time.
Versas don't seem to age well in my opinion.

(15 Mar 2016, 8:38 pm)BusLoverMum Isn't it about 15 years for a single decker? Even on the Solo expected useful lifespan of 12 years, an 09 reg vehicle is still not even mid life, yet.
I do find the contrast between solos and versas quite baffling. Arriva's 08 reg solos at Belmont are externally scruffy, but really quite zippy little things and a nice ride on some of the more demanding rural routes (eg the 56). Versas seem to suffer from being a solo stretched out and spread too thin. Mechanically, are they any different from the solos, or do they have the same engine, transmission etc to pull the heavier bodywork around?
