So they would have to get the W1 to whitley bay town centre then on the 1. Metro provide a rubbish service these days.

I kind've think they just have no clue, it needs more funding, or REPLACING. They may as well rip it all up and turn it into bus super highways

That's cause a few problems for the trains to Sunderland, like.

Is the increase not due to people buying a ticket rather than jumping the metro since the barriers were installed?

Also numbers have increased from 58 to 62 people per carriage. This not due to the amount of failed trains  Tongue

I made the same point last year (which was reporting on the first year of barrier operation).

Aye, they like coming up with the same ideas.
To be fair, by doing it, it keeps things in the public domain a bit.
I often wonder if there is a little bit of elbow nudging too. Whichever government gives the money that leads to a new and upgraded system, may just get a few votes out of it too.

Aye, they like coming up with the same ideas.
To be fair, by doing it, it keeps things in the public domain a bit.
