(06 Mar 2018, 11:15 am)BJ10VUS I've pulled this from Vosa, but it seems to be missing a few details for the service. Interesting that it isn't covered by subsidies when it wasn't making a profit?

(09 Mar 2018, 2:33 am)Jimmi Timetable can be found here: https://www.nexus.org.uk/sites/default/f...180318.pdf
Some more info I found somewhere on Facebook:
Four tenders were received for the 808 service.
The successful operator will be Phoenix Taxis who are based in Blyth
They will use 22 seater coaches that have 2014/15 plates
The service will leave Otterburn at 07:00 (five minutes earlier than the present service)
The ticket cost will increase for a single ticket from present figure of £3.80 to £4.50 and for a return from £6.50 to £7.60. However I am advised it is likely there will be a weekly ticket available that should reduce costs.
Phoenix Taxis will start the service from 19 March hence no gap in the service.

(09 Mar 2018, 5:55 pm)Tom No wonder PCL weren’t making much money - £3.80 single is very cheap for the distance. £4.50 is still pretty good mind.

What is the Single fare on the 808 between Kenton Bank Foot and Newcastle St Thomas Street?
(22 Apr 2018, 7:48 am)S830OFT I don't think it stops there as when PCL had it the first stop was Ponteland.

It supplies a local service between Ashington, Cramlington, Bedlington & Blyth (with no service on the 1, 2, 19 and 43), so quite handy if it does run.
