Only new information being pricing, which is surprisingly cheap.

The 5 mile £2 single/£3 return presumably would cover any journey in the Hartlepool zone and would come in cheaper than two flat-fare singles or a day rider.

What remains to be seen is if Tees Flex is strictly for use outside the regular network or it will cover more of the town.

At those prices it’ll be a viable alternative to a taxi. Although it’ll never be commercially viable, it does make a nice poster project for the mayor who’s keen to be showing how caring the Tory party can be to the NE....

did someone mention Teesside Airport?

Withdrawn E400 from Walkergate 19195, 19208 and 19209 plus 19207 from Stockton should now have departed for East Midlands.

27590 is the first of a handful of buses to steadily arrive at Walkergate from North Scotland, assisting them with MOT work - these are not for service. Some of Walkergate's white MMC will be used as cover at Inverness during this time.

When you say "Not for service", I'm not quite sure what you mean, and what the vehicle is therefore doing here?
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - January 2020
They’ve came down to be fixed and MOT’d then sent back so not going on service

11503 went to Inverness yesterday (Tue) 11298 went today (Wed) and 11300 will be going tomorrow (Thu)

Meanwhile to cover the MMC’s 19212 19215 19216 are in the process of being returned to service at Walkergate

Why are 11298/300/503 going to Inverness and will they be back at walkergate?

Must say i like the new Stagecoach livery, it is clean, fresh but simple, much improved on the current livery
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - January 2020
I must say that the new SC liveries all look amazing. They're simple, recognisable, not to plain, not too packed but not too bland. GNE should take note.

Pleasant liveries. The 'specialist' green is a bit plain but I'd assume it will generally carry additional branding for whatever makes it a specialist allocation?

It's recognisably 'Stagecoach' from any angle and pairs with the subdued interior which creates a simple but premium feel. I always felt Stagecoach had the strongest corporate brand but it felt particularly cheap and commercial, particularly beachball interior. A nice departure from diagonal block liveries which seem to have been adopted by seemingly every other operator.

Very much agreed, all that was all very good at the start of the decade. I like the change, but yet to be won over by the orange bumper on the E400 Azure blue one, or why its headlight clusters are black yet on the E200 they are painted with the Ocean green. Hopefully something that will be ironed out...

I have to agree there!
It's far too bland, far too much white, just looks like a demo vehicle!
I do like the coach though!

You don't like much do you streetdeckfan? Mostly complaining, I think. Get a better hobby!

To me it just look like half job, at least there is "something" to current livery. However this is bland, horrible mixture of colours and cannot consistently be rolled out across different vehicle types and look uniform. Yes looks very much like a demo, however demos tend to have better liveries too!

I think the main thing that makes it look like a half job is the lack of colour along the bottom.
Imagine how dirty they'll look once they've been through one puddle!

Naturally, I did a quick and dirty Photoshop and whilst it's not perfect, I do think it looks better

Definitely an improvement, but as they say you can't polish a turd.

Apart from having no bottom skirt, is it practically not the near the same amount of white that we seen on the previous MMC liveries...? The MMC swoop livery has a lot of white, and like the new design, the bulk the white is on the advert boards, so will be covered.

R.E. the interiors, it has been noted that Stagecoach are still developing interiors in line with the new corporate image.

Flipping the wheel around on the sides and you get an area of colour practically the same as previous rear swoops. Plus, of the bulk the white is on the advert boards, so will be covered also.

You're almost certainly right. But not having the bottom skirt makes a heck of a difference.

I'm still in two minds about the designs, but until seen in the flesh it's difficult to gauge it's effectiveness.

Moving back onto local fleet matters

19383 is now at Stockton, having transferred down sometime on Wednesday - being used on the afternoon Prior run virtually straight away
While mentions of 19207 moving to East Midlands, Bus Times currently has its base plate tracking as working out of Walkergate - it's reportedly due to be the 1100 22 from Throckley

The Tees Flex information page has been removed from the website - one of the 4 older Sprinters was out on what looked like a training run yesterday morning
