Would be nice if there’s enough to get rid of all the Omnideckers and Gemini 1s, (including Voyager examples).
They look just look old inside and out.
(15 May 2022, 7:55 pm)Rapidsnap wrote They seem to be getting a mixture of Enviro 400s. Think E65 along with E64 were the oldest of them (57 plates), the rest seem to be 08 / 09 plates. Two that came up recently are in original Go-Ahead London livery with the charcoal grey skirt as portrayed by E65 at Metrocentre today. There is another (E64 I assume) in GAL original livery and an all red one in Saltmeadows facing away from the gate.
Dan can you provide us with a list of registrations and possible fleetnumbers for those who keep their own records please.
(15 May 2022, 8:09 pm)Malarkey wrote From what I have heard today there is 15 of them coming up to be used on Tyne & Wear Metro Replacement between Heworth and South Shields to allow for the duplication lines to be put in place at certain points where they are needed, No confirmation if these E400's are permanent additions to the fleet. So then the other 7 needed (not sure about the spares) will be covered by JH & Stanley iirc
