Ahead of transfer to Stanley Depot where this vehicle will be allocated to "The Diamond" services 43/44, this vehicle has gained "The Diamond" branding, albeit without sub-branding for the 43/44 services. Early expansion of the Go-Ahead Northern empire saw the acquisition of certain smaller competing bus operators in North East England, during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Northern acquired JH Hammell (Diamond) on 30th December 1994, which this brand refers to.

This vehicle has been repainted into a purple base livery with silver detailing, and has also received "Prince Bishops Swift" branding, for service X20. The branding is very similar to the branding carried by the main vehicles allocated to "Prince Bishops" service 20, with minor differences to differentiate the two different services.

This vehicle has been repainted into a two-tone yellow and maroon base livery, and has also received "Venture" branding. Venture Transport was the largest independent bus operator in North East England, and Go North East has resurrected the Venture name to local services operating in Derwentside. Venture Transport operated services in the Derwent Valley between Consett and Newcastle upon Tyne. It was founded after World War I, and, on 1 May 1970, it was sold to the Northern General Transport Company with 86 buses.

Pending delivery of new "Red Arrows" branded Mercedes Citaros, this vehicle has entered service at Washington Depot. Once the new Mercedes Citaros are delivered, it is expected that this vehicle will transfer to Chester-le-Street Depot, seeing use on the "Angel" services.
