Having previously carried "TEN" branding, this vehicle has been repainted into a dark green base livery. As part of ongoing improvements to services on the Tyne Valley, Go North East will re-brand its "TEN" 10/10A/10B/10X services as "Tyne Valley Ten" on a green base livery, moving away from the silver livery which the vehicles allocated to these services have carried since 2008. In line with the entry into service of new Wright Streetlites on "Black Cats" service 39, the Wright Solar bodied Scania L94s previously allocated to this service have cascaded to service 61. This service has recently seen a temporary allocation of "See it, Do it, Sunderland" branded Mercedes Citaros, following the transfer of the operation of this service to Chester-le-Street, but are now gradually being replaced by the branded Scania L94s. This vehicle has gained private cherished registration mark 524 FUP (previously held by Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3867, which received its original registration prior to disposal). This vehicle's original registration, YN55 NFC, has now been held on retention.

Representing an investment of approximately £2.9m, this batch of vehicles have been ordered to replace the older ADL Enviro400s currently allocated to "Sapphire" services X21/X22 (Newbiggin - Ashington - Newcastle). Internally; they feature Esteban Civic V3 seating complete with e-leather, free Wi-Fi, 'Next Stop' audio-visual announcements and USB charging points.

Having sustained severe fire damage in Ovington whilst operating "Tynedalexpress" service X84, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Hexham Depot.
Prior to returning to service at Riverside Depot; this vehicle has received "The Crusader" branding, with sub-branding for service 27 (South Shields - Newcastle).
