Following the entry into service of the former Stagecoach East Scotland MAN 18.240LF/ADL Enviro 300 vehicles on Metrocentre Shuttle service 100, this vehicle has moved from Slatyford to Slatyford (Reserve), prior to re-allocation to Stockton Depot.
This vehicle has entered service at Washington Depot. It should act as a dedicated spare vehicle for the "indiGo Washington" network - should any of the branded vehicles on services 82/83/85/86 be unavailable, this vehicle should be allocated instead.
Having previously carried cherished registration mark K2 VOY, this vehicle has been re-registered as LA55 WWN. The cherished registration mark, K2 VOY, has been sold to a private buyer, in exchange for another cherished registration mark (X21 GNE). This registration mark will be allocated to Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6146 (YN55 NFE), which will act as the dedicated spare vehicle for "The Castles Express" service X21.
Prior to entering service in the region, this vehicle has received route branding for service 100 (Newcastle City Centre - Metrocentre). It is thought that this vehicle, and the others in its batch, will replace the Dennis Enviro 300/Alexander Enviro 300 vehicles currently allocated to the 100 service, which will cascade to Stockton Depot to replace the older MAN 18.220LF/Transbus ALX300 vehicles there.
Having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot. It will be replaced in the fleet at Deptford when the former Thames Travel Optare Solo M880/Optare vehicles, fleet numbers 698 and 700, enter service.
This vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values of Go North East.

This Christmas, Theatre Royal panto audiences are invited to join the comedy trio of Danny Adams, Clive Webb and Chris Hayward at the most magical pantomime of them all, Cinderella. As part of a partnership between Go North East and Theatre Royal, Go North East has applied a special livery to this vehicle to promote the pantomime. This bus is the dedicated spare vehicle for "Crusader" service 27, featuring Wi-Fi like the branded allocation.
