October 2016 Arriva North East Photograph by With the allocation of "Frequenta" service 63 being split between VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 and Temsa Avenue vehicles, the latter type require repaint following the recent repainting and branding of the former type. This vehicle has now been treated to a partial repaint which sees the removal of the cowhorn from the normal corporate livery, prior to gaining "Frequenta" branding.

October 2016 Go North East Having previously carried "Red Arrows" branding, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain red base livery.
October 2016 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values of Go North East.
October 2016 Arriva North East To allow for modernisation work, there are no Metro trains operating between Benton and North Shields in either direction on Saturday 8th October 2016 and Sunday 9th October 2016. Arriva North East has been awarded with the contract to operate replacement bus service, number 900, which calls at or near to all stations between Four Lane Ends and North Shields. To allow double-deck vehicles to be released for use on this service, this vehicle has transferred from Belmont Depot to Jesmond. It will also be used after that to allow the Scania CN94UB/Scania Omnicity vehicles which are allocated to service 685 at Jesmond to be repainted, as part of a scheme to re-launch the service with a new brand... see more
