This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside, in a float capacity. This vehicle is being temporarily retained as a float vehicle, whilst vehicles in Riverside's fleet undergo modifications for group projects.
Last year; Darlington Borough Council secured £8 million of government funding for delivering improvements to the town's bus network, including bus priority schemes and improved bus stops. The council also secured additional government funding to allow further vehicles in Darlington's fleet to be fitted with a 'Next Stop' audio-visual announcement system, with this vehicle being one to have the system fitted.

This vehicle, previously numbered previously numbered 617 within the Brighton & Hove fleet, has now arrived at Riverside Depot. It will undergo preparation for service within the Go North East fleet at Saltmeadows Road Depot.

Service changes in Sunderland have resulted in younger MAN 18.220LF/Transbus ALX300 vehicles arriving at Slatyford Depot. As such, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Slaytford Depot, and is now in storage whilst awaiting disposal.

A number of East Lancs Kinetic bodied MAN 18.240LF vehicles have been released from Stagecoach Yorkshire as a result of service changes to bus services in South Yorkshire. This vehicle has been acquired by Stagecoach North East and is currently undergoing preparation for service at Stagecoach in Sunderland's Wheatsheaf Depot. It is believed that these vehicles will be allocated to Stockton Depot, replacing older MAN 18.220LF/Transbus ALX300 vehicles.
