Missing back panels and looks in a bad state RE: Go North East: Withdrawn Vehicles & Fleet Disposals - wibblejunior - 16 Jun 2022 I think 5293 was waiting for a replacement engine, but given its age and the pointlessness of the Sunderland District branding in the first place it's possible that they've shelved that plan and are withdrawing it instead. I think the ex-IOW (5481-7) Citaros had different engines to the refurbished Citaros, or else they could've used one of the engines out of them in the if any of them were salvageable. RE: Go North East: Withdrawn Vehicles & Fleet Disposals - Ianthegoon - 17 Jun 2022 Think I missed what happened to the 5481-87 batch! Did they all go for scrap, or were any of them sold on for further use or possibly even retained within GNE?
