Perhaps not now that it is shortened? Shysters RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022 - Thomas12 - 10 Jun 2022 As a complete contrast to the massive amounts of cuts happening on the 24th July, one of the drivers on the 1 said today that the Q3 is going back to Wallsend from the the 24th July. Seems quite a strange thing to happen considering it was only cut in March, so unsure if it is true. I thought had moved on from having 4 different variations of service numbers! Remember the 35/A/B/C and how confusing those were! Wonder if they're effectively bringing back the 152 to replace the 62, by extending the 61 to Peterlee? Wonder how that'll work with the loop round Murton if that's a thing. Wonder how that'll work with the loop round Murton if that's a thing.Since an "861" is mentioned there, that'll probably be it. Though the 8 prefix may merely indicate that it's a scholars service, which the vast majority of 8xx services are iirc. I reckon you're right with the 8xx prefix and it being a scholars service. (still don't know if they do now?) And will Consett's interworking patterns / PVR's be?: - X45/X71/X72 - PVR 9 - X30/X31 - PVR 3 (changeover at Stanley + peak extras) - 47 - PVR 6 Will the evening and or Sunday X30/X72 stay at Consett or will Riverside take these on interworking with the 6 & 12 using StreetLites? RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022 - ASX_Terranova - 11 Jun 2022 Is this set in stone, bit disappointed about the 82, especially between Birtley and Washington RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022 - busmanT - 11 Jun 2022 (11 Jun 2022, 1:03 pm)ASX_Terranova wrote Is this set in stone, bit disappointed about the 82, especially between Birtley and WashingtonNexus tender results still to be taken into account? Yes Indeed… I wonder if they will bolt something onto the 34 to allow Crew Changes in Washington covering some of the axed routes? Otherwise will be a lot of dead mileage? RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022 - Storx - 11 Jun 2022 (11 Jun 2022, 3:03 pm)gc802002 wrote Yes Indeed… Can't really use the 34 as you'll either leave Ouston or Urpeth Grange without a bus service. It'll more likely be bolted onto the 23 if anything or maybe something merged with the 25 and the 23 removed altogether. The 37 will no doubt be redirected at the other end of the route to cover Washington village with the 73 potentially scrapped altogether (it copies the 8 mostly anyway). Nexus don't care about GNE's dead milage that's not their problem.
