Bar the X12 that's about it but tbh I don't think they will care about 1 stop being missed RE: Great North Run - Kuyoyo - 05 Sep 2023 (05 Sep 2023, 3:41 pm)Busu284 wrote Bar the X12 that's about it but tbh I don't think they will care about 1 stop being missed X12 doesn’t run to Newcastle on a Sunday RE: Great North Run - Andreos1 - 05 Sep 2023 (05 Sep 2023, 2:27 pm)RobinHood wrote Are there even any direct impacts on Arriva services that they need to advise about? I dont think there is. I'm not sure about diversions or road-closures, but I'd expect heavy loads and delays that will impact on their services in and out of Haymarket. RE: Great North Run - Busu284 - 07 Sep 2023 An open topper from East Yorkshire seems to have appeared at Riverside. This may be to act as a GNR bus for the open topper suggested that 6997 or 6900 ain't fixed yet Dan Graham on twitter has posted it RE: Great North Run - stagecoachbusdepot - 11 Sep 2023 Does anyone know which open topper was in use at mile 6 for Guide Dogs charity? Think I saw most of the others but there was no sign of anything along there when I passed just before the roads closed. Also is 6900 still in use with GNE? Havent seen it since Santa Bus guise and there's been a decent number of closed toppers on the Toon Tour this summer so presumably there's been limited open top availability? RE: Great North Run - Unber43 - 11 Sep 2023 Long Term VOR, at one point there was zero open top spares RE: Great North Run - Busu284 - 11 Sep 2023 (11 Sep 2023, 4:29 pm)stagecoachbusdepot wrote Does anyone know which open topper was in use at mile 6 for Guide Dogs charity? Thanks for confirming, must have been cutting it fine to get through as it wasn't long before 0930 that I was heading along that way and no sign of it. Couldn't help but wonder as well at the Shields end why staff arent selling tickets to the punters as they queue rather than everyone having to pay on board (unless they have advance tickets etc) - it seemed to take ages for everyone to board and the majority appeared to be buying tickets from the driver. Surely that would enable the buses to fill much quicker if everyone was ticketed before boarding, and clear the queues more quickly (at least until they run out of vehicles and need to wait for ones to return from Newcastle)? Arriva and Go North East staff were selling tickets in the queue until around 14:00. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
