(17 Oct 2015, 9:57 pm)BusLoverMum Talking of Durham Diamonds, I noticed that one had the destinations along the top sides (plus a rear map), today. Unfortunately, I can't say which one, because big'un lost his little notebook.
(17 Oct 2015, 9:59 pm)S813 FVK 5292 and 5289 both carry route details. 5291 and 5284 dont.

(17 Oct 2015, 10:08 pm)BusLoverMum Think it was 5289 we saw.
I was more surprised to see one still in the old orange diamond livery. Seems to be rather close to the changeover date. Maybe GNE is busy keeping the fate of the other vehicles close to its chest.

(17 Oct 2015, 9:25 pm)Sidthebusbabe Sorry if it's been discussed (I can't be bothered to trawl through pages of heated debates ) but how long have the (Durham) 'Diamond' Citaros had announcements connected to the stop bell. An announcement 'Please remain seated until the bus has stopped' is played every time the bell is pressed.

(18 Oct 2015, 9:58 am)BJ10VUS I can vouch for that - there was definitely at least one CityLink Citaro with the announcement.

(17 Oct 2015, 10:12 pm)S813 FVK Somewhat a bit of a rarity to see them still in the orange livery. Should get through the 3 remaining vehicles in time (either that or temporarily withdraw them like they did with 5234-5242 while they did driver familiarisation and repaints). Mind, there are the remaining solars to repaint green - think it was said that it takes around 2-3 days to repaint a bus and there is only a week to go before the changes.

(18 Oct 2015, 10:17 am)Michael The Highwayman Scania's......... Don't think they can withdraw them temporarily so they'll be done one by one....

(18 Oct 2015, 10:20 am)S813 FVK They have a week to do 5 solars. May be a case of debranding them and having them running around in the highwayman base livery for a bit if thats what it takes. Can't see them being temporarily withdrawn.

Seen a few of the North Tyne Links today in wallsend and with it being a sunday the 40/41 do the full circles all day and theres some via points missing when Wallsend is displayed
On the 40 its displayed Wallsend via howdon and rosehill but if hadrian park is displayed it has Via Station Road, High Farm, Battle Hill Drive.
41 has rosehill and howdon missing from it.
Few passengers keep asking drivers if the routes habe changed as some via points have been took out.

(18 Oct 2015, 8:32 pm)GX03 SVC Here's a one.
Why does the 434 call at 'North Seaton'? NS Village (by the Northern Social Club), NS Crossing, NS Road, NS Colliery (where the 30 went)? Wouldn't be better as 'The Elephant'?
Arriva call at the true North Seaton with the 35/a and X20.
https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z...icC-JFfqbs&usp=sharing
Arriva's North Seaton is the blue pointer, GNE's North Seaton is the red and North Seaton is in green (Note: includes Industrial Estate and Colliery).
