(26 Oct 2015, 8:17 pm)Jimmi Think I was actually on said bus you let go (service V7) and there was indeed standing room only when it left Stanley Bus Station, a few did get off not far from Stanley Bus Station although there still wasn't that many seats left throughout the remainder of the journey to the Metrocentre.
Similar sort of story on the 30 as well, as we got closer to Stanley there was only two seats left on the bus and two people chose to stand instead.
Obviously it's the first full day of the changes and people are all over the place with these changes, not knowing what bus is going where etc. and the V7 I was on was running around 10 minutes late which probably didn't help matters.

(26 Oct 2015, 6:12 pm)Dan I think the modifications will be slightly different, as the internal seating layout on the dual-door Volvo B10BLEs is completely different to the native single-door examples.

As discussed previously, one of the main modifications on the native single-door examples is the removal of one tip-up seat and adjustment to the position of the wheelchair headrest (as shown below), but the dual-door examples do not have this seating layout.

(26 Oct 2015, 9:32 pm)DaveyBowyer Why is 9119 being trialed on the TEN rather than the TTX? I know it might not be down to mechanical issues and more due to evaluation reasons.

9119 needs to go to Percy Main to be "tuned up" whatever that means so it can handle the x9,x10. It far too slow to go on there at the moment and it delays the service. Several drivers complained about driving it. Therefore it being used effectively as a spare bus mainly on 10s as a lot of ten deckers are getting work done on them. It saves putting a red bus on you see. 9119 was also on 327 for Percy Main, its also done a 31, 11/11A and i think a school run aswell. It supposed to go to Percy later this week to go back to X9/X10 but that plan might have changed. They carn't do it at Riverside as too busy.

Extra evening journeys are operational from now until Christmas on Mondays to Fridays, and an additional vehicle is being added to the cycle on Saturdays from October half-term until Christmas, aiming to provide a greater capacity following the withdrawal of the articulated Mercedes Citaros. This is on top of the ordinary extra vehicle added to the PVR on Saturdays.
Any idea what vehicle this will be?
