It does seem like I'm wrong (rare occasion there) as I originally thought they were numbered 36961-81, rather than 36960-36980. So only left to arrive.
Ahh thought so, it happens.

36970 entered service on Monday 21 October 2013.

36971 - 36979 are still being prepared for service.

36978 is confirmed as SN63VVO
36979 is confirmed as SN63VVP

36980 is still to be officially confirmed, but is believed this vehicle arrived yesterday & is registered SN63VVR (To be Confirmed).

Just walked past theirs about 4 or 5 parked up at the back still,is this where they prepare them for service?

Couple of engineers working on them

Yes probably, though there could be a few in the Garage/Paint Shop out of sight.

Preparing the vehicles for service essentially means applying The Fleet Numbers, the Fleet Names (i.e Stagecoach in Sunderland), Legal lettering, fitting the Ticket Machine & Cash Tray & if not already fitted the cctv.

I have attached a copy of my own created Fleet List for you.

Cheer's wasnt sure, even though ive being a few times and live in Sunderland i should of known that
Another ex-Sunderland Dart at Slatyford is 35160... seen operating the X88 this afternoon
Good to see the Sunderland ALX200 Darts still out and about in their final days.

33829 was on the 10/11 alongside the new 63 reg ADL Enviro 200s, 33101 was on the 19 and 33484 was either on the 23 or 19 as well (saw it heading towards Roker Avenue but did not see the front display).
Darts that i seen today and are currently still at Sunderland (there may have been more that i didnt see)
35155,35156,35157,35158,35161,35163,35172,35173,35190,33101,33829
I would have thought that 33101, 33484 and 33289 would have been withdrawn before the pointer 2 darts were displaced to Newcastle . I suppose there will be a technical reason as to why some of the Pointer 2 darts have been withdrawn at Sunderland before the 3 Alx200 examples Smile.
How many of the E200's are out in service?

I noted they being on the 4 and 5/5A along with the 10/11
35187/35189 are now at Slatyford.
33121,33128 and 33485 are now parked at the back of Slatyford- presumably have been withdrawn.
19383,19430 and 19432 all now have rear adverts for LG
Thanks for the continued updates, Dan. Making my life a whole lot easier when writing up the news! Wink
As there is currently 22 ALX200 darts in service and 21 new Enviro 200s arrived i think:
34608/9 will end up at Hartlepool replacing 2 of 33486/88/97 leaving 1 remaining ALX200 dart there.
34610-15 at Walkergate replacing all their darts
Possibly 35155-35160/87/88/89 to Slatyford replacing all their darts
35190 to Shields to replace 33492
Leaving 35161/2/3/72/3 at Sunderland so that 33101/484/829 can be withdrawn.

Being too logical there I think - this is SNE after all! 34615 has turned up at Slatyford, operating the 7 today...

Stagecoach are more logical than Arriva are to be fair.

Also, I doubt South Shields will be recieving a Dart in this move - officially 33492 (like 33484/829 at Sunderland, and 33486/91 at Hartlepool) is a reserve vehicle so should in theory be withdrawn without replacement.

They may be reserve vehicles but all see service daily. As for the amount or newer darts becoming available from Sunderland i cant see them withdrawing them yet just to keep 'reserve' darts in front line service.
I thought Hartlepool only had one ALX200 for service (33488).

I think 34608 would end up in Hartlepool.

34609 to 34614 at Walkergate

34615 at Slatyford.

Apparently 35190 maybe replacing a MAN 18:220 to somewhere.

They do officially only have 33488, 33486/91 are in reserve. Likewise with 33492 at South Shields.

And indeed, I've heard mention South Shields are due one Pointer to release one MAN AX300 to Slatyford as Shields have more full size Single Deckers than required, hence why 21156 has reportedly spent most of this week in the depot.

36973 - 36975 (Entered Service on Friday 25th October 2013).

Thank's for the update.

They should be in service by end of the week hopefully.

Has anyone got a list of the buses which have transferred out of Sunderland?
Seen at Slatyford on Sunday were 35160 and 35189.

Withdrawn at the back were 33121, 33128, 33483 and 33485.

The last update I had following previous postings was as follows:

34610, 34612 & 34614 moved to Walkergate
(3 more required to fully oust the last of the ALX 200s).

34615, 35159, 35160, 35187, 35188, 35189 moved to Slatyford
(3 more required to fully oust the last of the ALX 200s).

21156 is back out today on usual haunts 17 and 18.(incidentally so is 33492 still)
today at 15:10 at Sunderland Interchange 36969 was in the layby section in the middle with the alarms sounding off making a right noise for awhile then pulled away in service with 23 Thorney Close on the blinds with passengers on.
Looks like they might all be out by end of the week.

How many darts have Sunderland got left.. seen a couple around

In the coach and bus magazine it mentions Sunderland's 21 new E200's
