Speaking of that
The driver of the polo apparently said to the police officer that the bus had its indicator on to pull out, I went past the bus at 06:45 this morning and it looked as if it had been there all night, either that or it broke down really early this morning

It was driven by a driver I find to always be on time though, maybe that was the reason. Think it was 7526 can't remember fully
I don't expect the drivers to do anything illegal or dangerous but a bit of effort doesn't go a miss and can make a massive difference. Or, the bus beforehand took a hammering and he ended up with hardly anybody on.

Wright StreetLite's 1592 and 1601 in Jesmond depot today.

There was another MAX example (1591 I think) in Jesmond but was pretty much impossible to photograph from outside with cars parked in the way.
Could just see a Enviro 400 in Jesmond depot, presumably a Sapphire example.

But, like the other times I've had him, he drove well and even had time to let passengers get to their seats before driving off, while remaining on time, I think we may have been one minute late at one point but that was about it.

Darlington are now another sapphire pulsar down 1518 has just had its back window put out by a MAX bus

Looks like the back end of another one is poking out from around the corner.

I think there was, but couldn't really see from the road. Everything was tucked away apart from this one. There was the Streetlite you can see behind, another one parked behind an ALX300, and another Sapphire E400 right at the back.

Was 7538 in the same place by the time you got there, or had they shifted it?

1601 looks like its parked in the disused repaint shed.

Was just looking through some photos on Flickr, and noticed that some other Arriva divisions were recieving Citaro's while the North East were recieving Pulsars?
Surely some of the routes that the Pulsars were deployed on would have been better suited to Citaro's, such as the Blyth expresses, the X2/12 etc?

I'm sure I saw a Sapphire Citaro acting as a spare for Sapphire 321 branded StreetLites. Luton?

Those are part of the 58 reg batch with Arriva Shires.
The 12 plate ones were all bought for use at London 2012 Olympic Games, then dished out between Shires & Southern Counties

Took photos at Jesmond today with Dan - just need a few questions answering for captions.
The Sapphire base-liveried E400, where is that headed, I presume the 7 seeing as that is due deckers? Also, a MAX-liveried Streetlite as well as a Sapphire base-liveried example?
Thanks!

The MAX Streetlites are for the X1 (Darlington again)
The Sapphire ones are for the 22 (again, sure I saw that somewhere) so also Durham

No problem
For reference (if you have the fleetnumber of the E400) I think 7534-8 will be for the 7, with 7539/40 for the 24 (just a complete guess with this though, based on how easy it will be to put the first ones into service as they will not have to be "launched")

Apologies if it's already been reported - but I've just been informed that Streetlite 1601 is NK15 ABZ.

Might be worth pointing out that 1753 is now finished after today on service 7, it's last trip would have been the 1727 from Willey Flatts back to Stockton, with the arrival of the 2 Solos (2805/2829) over the last few days.
