Brilliant idea Dan - may take a while to complete. I have to admit, i love Brighton and Hoves own fleet list. Its of a similar format to that but also shows vehicles in their previous life if they are acquired from another company (such as the artics from Go North East).
Did i even say thank you for changing my user name the other day lol? If not, thanks

I've no idea how Scott composed his, and I was unsure of the format to go with for the comparable Go-Ahead example I was aiming to produce, but a sort of "fleet handbook" is what came to mind in the end... I've completed Go North East - thoughts on the attached?
If it works successfully, hopefully we can have it as a downloadable PDF on the "Fleet List" section of the website.
Sounds good will look at it tomorrow when I'm on a desktop computer.
A Fleetlist would ideally also have chassis make/type, body make/type and seating capacity.

The vehicle type is below the box with the fleet number 'group'.
As for seating capacity - I wasn't aware many were interested in this? Not like we had room on our main web-based fleet lists anyway, but this is why seating capacity was not included on either.
As it seems to have been quite a popular idea, I will try and get this done in any spare time I have this week. Might even include seating capacity if GiW is lucky! [emoji14]
It looks excellent Dan, certainly will be a massive help!
Three buses have arrived at Saltmeadows Road for repaint. These include:
- Riverside-based "QuayLink" branded Optare Versa V1110/Optare 8310 (NK10 GNY) and 8312 (NK10 GOA) for a fresh coat of yellow, ahead of the changes to the "Quaylink" services next month.
- Deptford-based "Northern" branded DAF SB120/Wright Cadet 8267 (NK54 NKT) for repaint, helping to flush out the Northern name in favour of Go North East's corporate livery.
There are a couple of loans between depots at the moment, including:
- As already established, Chester-le-Street's Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3869 (W179 SCU) is currently on loan to Deptford.
- Riverside's Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown 4911 (W911 SCU) is currently on loan to Hexham, as depicted within the photograph below.
- As already established, Riverside's Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse 4979 (NK54 NUJ) is currently on loan to Hexham, notably without any seatbelts despite having gone to Thorntons last month.
- Deptford's "Northern" branded DAF SB120/Wright Cadet 8268 (NK54 NKU) is currently on loan to Peterlee.

Any idea why?
Have GNE got a buyer for the tridents yet?
How many spares have GNE got at each depot with most of the B10's still in service?

Yes, but GNE's corporate livery is just plain red with fleet names... [emoji14]

Regarding the withdrawal of 3825, I'm quite sad to hear this. When it was allocated to Chester-le-Street from November 2012 (when the Palatine 1 bodied Olympians were withdrawn) to roughly September or October 2013, I became quite attached to it. After 3821 and 3822 transferred to Stanley in early 2013, 3825 was allocated to my scholars (887) nearly every evening without fail. I have fond memories of that bus.

Shall I give it a goodbye hug for you when I'm next at Saltmeadows..?
Robert - you need not worry, I have already done this for you today with the latest Lolynes to appear at Saltmeadows from Stanley... I know you were fond of them as well...
I developed a liking to the loylnes but that's just me.... I somehow developed I liking to vykings and presidents aswell!!!

3862 managed to outlive 3871, as the battery is already flat on the latter..!
Got 3862 started up no bother - bit..vibratey.. to say the least - managed to get another LED destination out of it!
When the Solos arrive for the East Durham, will the be in standard spec, or will they have Wi-Fi, USB sockets etc.?

I do hope that is not a reference to 4853...
I believe 3862 might have been my most used Trident out of the Lolynes. I always seemed to be on it when it was based at Percy Main.

3860 was my favourite but i had fond memories of 3862 when it was at Deptford when it was branded as "Showstopper" i always seemed to be on it when going to Sunderland visiting a friend or seeing my beloved club play but i had memories on 3860 to 3865 during their Deptford days even when they went on Service 26

I love lolynes, I think they are amazing, I like the Dennis Trident/Plaxton Presidents but I don't like the Volvo B7TL Presidents, and I don't like Vykings.
I like all Lolynes but 3868, 3875 & 3877 are my favorites.

I know it won't have long left but could you (not you directly
)place 3825s destinations into 3813 since the side and rear destinations are frozen to NOT IN SERVICE on th latter?

Could be worse. The front could be frozen to "Newcastle via MetroCentre 10" with a different operator three years later...
Traffic problems in Chester le Street this morning due to another breakdown with 8303 this time blocking the roundabout on West Lane at 10:00. This bus also broke down yesterday in Mendip Aveneue and on Saturday at the Red Lion on Front Street. All of these breakdowns have been on the 09:24 Lambton Worm 34A from The Red Lion which is always busy due to it being the first bus for ECT pass holders in Waldridge Park & Garden Farm areas.
More lost mileage.
