Get yourself to 117 Queen Street then - at least 400 slides to design for the Q1/Q2/Q3... Tongue

Maybe not now Tongue

Although, it can't be too hard to do though - just copy the same slide over and over for each service but change the text to say what it should say. Or am i very wrong?

I'm sure that's what the driver said when he walked into the depot one morning and found he was assigned to your scholars, Robert.  Tongue

A new meaning to 'death by PowerPoint'!

That is just plain abuse :Tongue

I wouldn't blame them if thats how they did react though. Some of the kids that get on are absolutely ridiculous. Always in bother with the school. Idiots.

Haha, I remember when I was on our other site, one of the Service Delivery Managers at Chester-le-Street would come in about once a month with CCTV footage of the goings-on on our scholars services!  Tongue

Hanover have a couple of programmes that we use to create the slides, so it is not as bad as you may think.

Wish they'd do that with us. Humiliate the kids in front of the school. Not like the little shits will care.

Even better. What sort of information is usually placed on the slides? I assume service, brand, destination and next stop would be self explanatory but i can't say i have ever paid attention to the display when i have been on a TEN B9.

You'll find out the answer to this one next month!  Wink

The things you mentioned are just the kind of thing you'd get on a bog-standard set-up. It'd be nice to see something a bit more interesting introduced by ANE and GNE..!

Don't know about GNE (if they already do it), but I'd like to see Arriva introduce local backgrounds to the NSA displays.

Are they still there?

yes 7410/7411/7412/7413 but 7414 got scrapped due to an engine failure
1410 entered service at Stockton today, on service 27
Update from Darlington, 4644 is currently under repair after an accident in the yard. Ironically it hit 1302, which hasn't moved in weeks. 7536 is off the road, also following a prang, and FINALLY, 1461 has arrived! [Image: 1063bda81c4fa2395493a11a3a63ad93.jpg]
who agrees 85/185/685 should be upgraded to either Sapphire or Max i say Sapphire more power plugs
(28 Jun 2015, 4:59 pm)Dan wrote [ -> ]Wonder if this is why the vehicles allocated to "Sapphire" service 22 (Sunderland - Durham) have not yet been programmed - despite entering service a month or two ago?

Mind, adding a bog standard "Sapphire" screen opposed to having Hanover's generic screen with their logo on isn't too difficult...

From a post on Facebook, it would appear that the announcements are now finally working on at least one Streetlite
yep, some or all the service 22 streetlites have the next stop announcements, I found out that this morning at peterlee bus station, I was 3 stands away from the streetlite and I can hear it loudly, the spare unbranded streetlite was on service 24 yesterday and the next stop announcements were on, I was boarding service X21 this morning and their was an Arriva fella at peterlee bus station with a clip board jotting down how many passengers were getting off service 21 and how many left on bus and how many boarded the X21 to Sunderland and vice versa, the arriva fella was only interested in jotting down only the loads on 21/X21 and nothing else while he was waiting for another hour he went into the transit white van or sunbathing out in the sun. the spare sapphire pulsar was on service 24 today and from the gleaming of the sun on the side of the bus and you could make out the old service 7 route along the side.
When the 20 gets extended to Alnwick, I wonder if the service will be allocated the B7TLs from London?

And also, what will the 33 interwork with when the 57A will no longer serve Morpeth?

I believe the X20 has been marked to go MAX - but what with is the million dollar question what with routes left right and centre requiring deckers.

As for the 33, given the plan to merge the Kirkhall part of the 2 into the short X14 with one an hour terminating in Morpeth rather than running to Newcastle, I wouldn't be too surprised if the 33 still works in with that.
