"some may see having Cockfield with 'every 12 minutes' next to it as misleading."

You don't say!

1305, 1314 and 1799 have migrated from Darlington to Blyth. Expect these should help release the Sapphire Pulsars that were in use at Blyth to head to Durham.

4501's left Redcar, to Jesmond apparently.

That's awaiting disposal according to the NEB fleet list, certainly hasn't been in use at Darlington for a good while now.
4501 was in service with Jesmond yesterday.
1527 is currently undergoing branding at Belmont while 1533 has also arrived.
1428 currently broken down at Newton aycliffe town centre, waiting for Bradley's by the looks of things

I don't sully my own Flickr accounts with bus pics, but it is possible to attach them to messages on here, so I do that with the odd noteworthy thing I manage to snap with my camera eg the Fab 56 in Durham bs station on Tuesday.

Hot bussing sounds fun.
Was really quite nice to see the ED1 go past this morning. Looked dead out of place though by being in an area that arriva have never operated in before (only arriva liveried bus i can remember is the R--- MNU olympians TGM had before repainting them into fleet livery. Obviously TGM classic was owned by arriva).
Why's Stockton got two extra buses?!

Replacement for Cadets 1910/11, which are listed for disposal at Stockton..?
1314 and 1799 have entered service at Blyth. 1314 was on 2 while 1799 was on 1.

There was definitely an X-GGO Dart on the 1 earlier too

I was on an Explorer yesterday so it's likely that they swapped them. I saw 1314 on the 2 at about 11:30 and 1799 at about 18:00.
First time I've been on the 5/5A to Darlington since the route/timetable changes and correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the 5A should run past Heighington Rail Station!

Passengers don't seem amused at this longer route to Darlington.

No it shouldn't, yet another driver that doesn't know the correct route of the 5/5A

When I boarded I did think "will the driver mess this new route up" although I thought it was going to be a case of the driver doing the old route.

Don't know what it is about when the 5/5A have routes changes but they always make mistakes in the first week or so, when they re-routed the 5A round past Greenfield School most drivers seemed to think the 5 went round there as well!

Wouldn't it make more sense for Redcar to lose a Pulsar to Stockton to replace an extra Cadet?

Well, the maps have been up long enough, I did it yesterday without any problems, although some notices on the bus stops advising passengers would be helpful!

Doesn't help passengers that the announcements still say Lyons Tetley and the changes weren't well advertised by Arriva, just the odd Facebook post, a page on the website and notices which you can only read if it's right in front of you.
