But why would GNE use a B9 to promote the 6 whilst that and the X70 / X71 are going to use Omnidekkas?

no idea they use anything to promote the brand

Why not? A livery being presented on a B9 doesn't mean that the route is going to use B9s...

No idea but if they are to use B9's on the service it wont be straight away.
They could get 2nd hand B9's... although then again they could of just used a B9 base as they could have spare base plans for a B9 around the depot...
I think they'll use the Omnidekka's on the services.
Davey your really obsessed with B9's... haha

Davey, you are really obsessed with you B9's, haha
It does show a bit doesn't it, they are decent I suppose, just not the Red Arrows 11-reg ones
Perhaps they just didn't have the outline of an Omnidekka so used a Gemini instead as it was available. The general public for whom who this FB animation is intended won't know the difference.

That could be possible since the OmniDekkas are still relitavely new to the fleet
Dan or Citaro will know

In fairness, the timetable for The Waggonway (28/28A/28B) pictures a Volvo B10BLE rather than a Solar, it also seems slightly more brown than it is in reality.
5293 in Signal Blue at Saltmeadows this Afternoon.

6129 in Corporate Livery at Saltmeadows this Afternoon, No sign of 6132 though.

FAB 57 Upgrade perhaps.

Yep. Its the only logical thing to get some toon link scanias to Stanley.

I want them to go to the 58 in exchange for Versas for the 57 in my head, unfortunately this impossible at this moment

5293 could be for 57? same shade as renowns

Hope not
Maybe swap for the X84/X85 giving the 57 Solars?

5293 is actually in a lighter blue than the renowns. It is closer to the Solars when the brand first emerged.

Malarkey endlessly claps "sarcastically" that you have come to this conclusion.

Remember all the odd and rare workings go in the "Go North Rare & odd workings thread"
5253 has gained now regained "Toon Link sub-branding" for services X30/X31 (Newcastle - Stanley).
Fleet List also has: 5253 - ToonLink - X30/X31
Wonder if this confirms the 11/96 will now be the only other services in the ToonLink brand... 12/12A as something else.... maybe?

Can anyone give me an update to what's currently in the paint shop?

4958 is currently VOR I can recall that 4959 currently does not have a working side blind nor does 5221
I am new to this thread
Just noticed since Percy Main destinations have been updated the NSA on the 309/310 don't work any more.
The 310 via points go the wrong way for example
it has
310- Newcastle,, Haymarket Via Cradlewell - Coast Road - Station Road - High Farm etc
310- North Shields via Meadow Well, Verne Rd, West Chirton, Norham Road etc
Some of the North Tyne links miss some via points out.
On the 40 is has
40- Wallsend Via Howdon and Rosehill only
41- Wallsend Via Battle Hill and Station Road
But it is good to see GNE making the destinations easier to read and adding extra via points in for passengers

Saw it getting branded up inside saltmeadows only 1 side was done with the other side being half done was gonna note but I needed wifi signal
In the paint shop que an UFO (joking) an unidentified Scania gone green and a Ominidekka more than likely 6129 as 6131 I now have a rear shot of which now means I now need that one will pop to saltmeadows or Stanley when all done

That might be 5228, as this was the only other 04 reg Scania which was left in "Highwayman".
The Omnidekka will be 6132, which has yet to be painted in to "Go North East".... won't be long before both of them head to Stanley.
