Only in Seaham would a building be protected by an intruder

An elderly woman just sat next to me on my GNE 6, pulled out an iphone 6s and started playing pokemon go. Never seen an OAP gamer before!

I've promised Big'un that, if he can be a darling, I'll take his phone for the odd walk and a few spins, when I get chance, when he's at school. It's a bit crap (which is why I ditched it for a better one, myself) and always crashing, so he's always out of balls. (oh the hilarity when he announces that)
First Potteries ability to make a challenging task into a much harder one!

On Sunday, First rehashed their routes around a large council estate in Stoke-on-Trent. The previous routes had been the same since de-reg, so a complete reshuffle including totally new route numbers was always going to be hard to sell to the locals. They've made it much harder for themselves, however, as I noticed today that all city bound service '12' buses show nothing on the side display and '13' on the back!
Not from today but yesterday when on the NNRG Road Run going along A167 to Durham on 4855 and some pensioner puts his hand out to stop the bus unaware that it's not a public bus. We go straight past with 4710 and YFY following behind and he starts cursing in our direction. Found this quite amusing.

Not really amusing but rather shocking but made me laugh a bit. Was on the 3 yesterday to Stanhope Road and some kid about 6 and his friend about 12 were on the back seat and the younger one started crying and the older one started winding him up. So the younger ones dad started having a go at the older one and then hit his son with a rolled up metro. Then he hit him again with the paper and started swearing at the kid which the kid replied you're a prick. I had to get off then so I don't know what happened after that

I'm disappointed that we didn't get a Grant Mitchell punch up. They were always TV gold.

Same, was disappointed, it was built up to be good then it was mehhhhh.
Saw a woman on a bike in her dressing gown heading to the Co-Op in Pickering this afternoon.
12:55 Glancing out of the window:

Me: The buses are stinkingly punctual, today
H: That's because you're not catching them.

13:02 Glancing up, again

Me: Or maybe not.
H: I guess that last one was late, then?

13:03

Me: Another one?!
H: You wait an hour and 3 buses come along at once.

I'm guessing at a breakdown because the village is a long way off getting a bus every 5 minutes!

Thank goodness she was wearing the dressing gown. Might have had an eyeful.
CLS' subway was open 36 minutes early today. This allowed me to have my foot long meatball Mariana at 825am on a sunday! Normally this'n opens later.
Stanley's drivers decided to gang up on me today. They say they keep seeing me waiting for buses.. their conclusion being that I am actually a spy, and as such this is a nickname they've drawn up for me.

Not surprised like, you always seem to be out on the buses [emoji14]

I often wonder what Arriva Darlington drivers think when they see me although I mainly just do the 7 Aycliffe - Durham and 5/5A Aycliffe - Darlington plus the odd trip on the 21/X21 and X66/X67, so I probably don't pick up on most drivers radars. In fairness though, most enthusiasts don't seem to know who I am.
Sitting on the x12 with three drivers on board doing training/route learning

Overtake a 21 at Harlow Green and the two older drivers look in amazement and say 'what the bloody hell did you do that for'

Love it

No other enthusiast really knows me, although I 100% walked past you back at the metrocentre rally. Most of the time I'm not taking pictures or whatever, only talk to the drivers if there is nobody else on the bus et cetera. If you saw me, you'd think I was nothing more than an average passenger.
"Passive enthusiast" is a term I'm going to adopt here [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]
I have a tendency to go unnoticed as Adrian and Marcus know about when they didn't see me photo them on a MMC a few month ago, also I can get a clear photo of a bus from around half a mile away.

Pinched it from Grand Theft Laughter on fb
I may be clutching at straws for Adrian's photo competition.

It may have been changed since I spotted it, but there's a sign at the exit of DBS reminding drivers that "all busses turn left".

The fact that the circus is coming to Spennymore[sic] has been amusing me, too.
