It does help if you live in Benton and it's on your doorstep ;-).
Also seen there on Thursday was 5336

All of the indiGo East Durham minibuses have had the Next Stop Announcements programmed for a while now.

I'd never heard of this place up Benton to be honest. Do you know if it's used quite often by operators?

Its right next to The Range if you are ever over that way. Doesn't answer your question but thought it would still be useful (although you can easily find this info out on google).

Mainly truck and van to be honest.
Their site down at the team valley generally had a few buses in.

Very rarely by my previous observations bar the odd Sprinter minibus. But on this occasion it was well used with the two from GNE, one from Lowdons of Sunniside (CE52 UWP), one from Green Mountain Travel (NJ63 XSB) and one unknown operator (NJ14 PUU)
.
6132 also has the bus reversing issue - couldnt get a pic because it changed back to 6 betore i had the chance.

So it is working fine. The problem issue is that it is staying on all the time, but if it has changed back to the 6, then it is OK.
Just passed 6029 going through Springwell Village on what is most likely the X1 with 'Not In Service' on its headboard and the bus is full of passengers. Looks like either an issue or the driver has changed the headboard rather early which may confuse potential passengers that wish to board it as there's a couple of more stops before the galleries.

If it's running severely late, the service delivery centre may have told the driver to drop out of service and just drop off passengers instead? Makes sense, as they can run it light to the terminus afterwards, and pull it back on time.
Makes sense doing that to make up lost time , wish the 10B I got yesterday had done that, it was running nearly 20 mins late by the time it went to Prudhoe Interchange and came back. Probably not possible on those though due to the route it serves.

Sitting downstairs on a castles express for the first time.
Much quieter and quicker accelerating onto the A1 than the demonstrator was. What's different, then?
Edit, valso noticed the announcements need some tweaking in Durham. The stop's already been passed by the time Emma gets around to telling you what it is.

It stopped at a bus stop with 'Bus Reversing' showing, it then went back to 6 and then by the traffic lights further along it was displaying 'Bus reversing' again.
Assumed that this wasn't normal, either.
5236 has just been moved after it broken down some time ago on the mini roundabout on the entrance to Eldon Square bringing chaos.
I live not to far away, I have been many times

I think it is because the demonstrator was a Volvo B9TL Wright streetdeck where as the castles express is a Wright streetdeck chassis and Wright streetdeck body?

So plenty of difference, then!
9119 was just a Streetdeck. No Volvo B9TL (or B5TL as it is now) in it at all.
9105. On the 57 shuttle today
Edit 5390 has replaced it as 9105 has no blind
Go North East
Due to Steam event we service 78A is unable to serve Beamush Museum due to gridlocked traffic
@BLM That Streetdeck demo would've most likely have been setup to provide better economy as opposed to power.
Crusade and keep connected...
The "Crusader" branded Mercedes Citaros at Riverside Depot are currently in the process of having free customer Wi-Fi installed. The examples commissioned today include 5312, 5317, 5318, 5319, 5329 and 5330. I believe the remainder will be installed over the coming days.
The red spare Mercedes Citaro, 5332, has also had free customer Wi-Fi installed. This should be the preferred spare vehicle for the Crusader 27, in the event that a branded vehicle is unavailable, to provide a consistent specification.

Thought it wouldn't be long before the 27 got WIFI.
Think this might rule out the 27 getting new buses.

Not necessarily. Just means that should they be cascaded then whatever service they go on will benefit from Wi-Fi
Crusader doesnt need wifi, instead it needs newer buses e.g off 21 Angle and NSA.
