Blackett street and Old Eldon Square is where most of them live - with a few up Northumberland Street, occasionally.

Durham, around Framwellgate bridge is the place for Slowpoke. I've caught most of mine there and you do see the odd Slowbro.

I feel a bit bad now with my second best Pokémon (caught today) was a Golbat with 302cp

They get better!
One tip is, once you get lucky eggs, hold off on evolving until you have 30-50 things to evolve, depending on your speed and concentration span. The ucky egg doubles the experience you get, so 30 evolutions with nothing ne equates to 30K experience with a lucky egg. Each new entry in the pkedex also earns 1000 instead of 500 with a lucky egg. It soon adds up (and before level 20 can get you up a couple of levels!)
I just faovurite anything that's ready to evolve and then forget about it, until I'm ready.

Big'un has a Raichu, now, after lots of walking. He got annoyed because hi phone froze in the midle of a lucky egg evolving spree. He has a slowpoke as his buddy, now, as he accidentally powered one up instead of evolving it, so is short of candy again, now! He's finally hatched a vulpix, which he's happy about, ince they seemed to disappear for ages, until the latest nest move.
We went to Hartlepool headland, today. Most of Hartlepool has voltorbs hanging round like pidgeys! I went from having 21 voltorb candy to 57 and we even caught an electrode, each, there!

Got to level 21 yesterday...
Hatched a 8 eggs yesterday to, shame i had all the Pokemon which hatched....
Pokestops yesterday allowed me to gain 8 eggs, so i currently have:
1 - 2km egg
6 - 5km egg's
1 - 10km egg
All the 5km ones will hatch at the same time
Just hatched 6... 5km eggs.
Not one of them was new Pokemon but got loads of candy
Found a Hitmonchan at lunch time near the Queen Alexandrea north end of the bridge.

They're hard to catch! i used about 20 ultra balls to get mine.

I would have given up on the hitmonchan if it wasn't the first I'd even seen!
The Dragonaire only took 7 ultraballs - they kept swerving away, despite the green ring - but I had 60, anyhow. Had a good weekend spinning and kept chucking out red balls until the ratios improved.

Halloween is here and Pokémon GO has its own treats to give out! Starting October 26th and lasting through November 1st, you can receive way more candies than usual.
Every Pokémon you catch will award six candies. The Professor will give you two candies instead of one for every Pokémon you transfer. And your buddy Pokémon will award candy four times faster than they usually do. Plus, you'll get twice the candy you'd normally get when you hatch eggs.
Noticed an increase in Gastly, Haunter, Drowsee, Hypno so far... No Gengar as of yet.... so far I've caught a Gastly and Haunter, both from my house.
Need 38 candy to evolve my Haunter and 16 for Nidorino (my buddy).
As you can see my Nidorino has gone from needing to walk 3km too 0.75km...
Going to be a fun weekend

In the past 4 days I have caught two cubones having not caught one before, I had previously hatched one. In Newcastle yesterday I caught 8 zubats in 12 minutes which has given me a 500cp Golbat

Ye, seems to be those atm along with Drowzee and Hypno.
Evolved my Haunter to Genger today, also caught a Genger but it was rubbish CP.
Aaannd... It's getting a bit samey already!
I've caught enough Cubone today to evolve two Marowak. Only ever had one egg hatched Cubone before that!
