So two break and all Enviro 400's are unreliable? The one that broke down today could be due to any number of reasons, and not necessarily an issue with the vehicle itself.

Why, exactly, do Arriva need to buy some "Volvo Gemini 3s"?
1516 is adding some sparkle to the X21.Big Grin

Ok Carm down, well actually this is one of two that have broke down this weak. Bearing in mind 7540 has broke down now 3 times now since it was new. It was only a few weeks ago when Alexander Dennis came out to fix that one at the depot. It's not just a one of occasion. I think Arriva should buy some Gemini's as they 1. Have better ride quality, 2. Better build quality, 3. A far more reliable. The only thing good about Enviros is that they are Fast and just cheap.

1406 and 1511 are both on the Sapphire 7.Big Grin
If you think the Volvos are more reliable go and speak to Transdev running them on the 36 and Coastliner, with many difficulties should we say. I'm told the 36 ones are to go through some major engine work shortly to try and improve reliability!

3 breakdowns in around 2 years is not bad going at all.

Generally I've found that E400s have pretty solid internal build quality. Especially when you consider that Gemini's are bodied by the same people who make the StreetLite.
