It was a great shift that one, lasted quite a while. You used to start about 0630, go light to Boro to do the Durham & back, come off at 0920, out at 1045 to Peterlee & back and finish when you got back at 1345. Perfect day.

Yeah, now you mention it... the change and former short run, turning in to a full run is starting to ring a bell.

That shift you describe doesn't sound too bad either!

I must admit to thinking it was NIS and running to pick up a 3 or X4 when I saw it.


The rear blind was O/S and there was nobody on it (apart from the driver).
It was only when I got past it, that I twigged it was actually in service.

1410 now on X12 in place of 1442, which lost part of its rear bumper this morning
